  1. We were connected to him before he signed with the jets. So beane likes him
  2. Just got notification that it’s down to dolphins, chefs and bills 30 seconds ago
  3. Completely different body type. Maybin struggled to stay at 240. AJ was 280 and looks to be told to lose weight. AJ always looked soft to me, as in muscle/fat. He doesn’t look powerful, more like a basketball player than a DE. I’m hoping an nfl weight program will transform his body. Same with Ed Oliver. If they can lose some fat and replace it with muscle I think it would help them both a lot. Ed is country strong atm. Imagine getting him to train like Donald and be a shredded monster.
  4. Singletary has been fine. It’s the extremely obvious run calls and run blocking that’s the issue. We run out of pretty much the same formation most of the time and it’s terrible because the players can’t block and the defender is to the TE In the backfield as Soon as the back gets the ball.
  5. Addison has been asked to drop into coverage a decent amount of time for some reason. Not sure if it’s a zone blitz or what but he doesn’t seem good at it.
  6. I strongly disagree with that.
  7. You do understand people can regress, right? Rex Ryan used to have elite defenses, Dick jauron had a good defense In Chicago. Should be bring them back too
  8. We have been blitzing a lot. Our players aren’t very good at it so they just end up stuck at the line. We’ve blitzed from pretty much every position on the field.
  9. Is it the guy getting the players or the guys developing the players? Also Ed has outperformed Quinnen Williams.
  10. The blue line is slightly off but still looks like he was past LOS
  11. It’s been ridiculous for years and the people with the blinders on are the ones that have been defending the refs. There was an obvious face mask we got away with so it did go both ways. Because for whatever reason the OL doesn’t put their hand out and touch them. WRs too. We do all these hard counts but don’t react when they jump. It’s maddening. Against Miami we were getting them to jump a lot even their corners but our guys just stood there. The time they do react Williams jumps up and takes a false start. Just stick your hand up, if they don’t get called for neutral zone infraction you just act like you’re calling out blocking assignments
  12. I’m saying Allen is to blame for not throwing it to Beasley when he’s open. One play he looked at him for a while and didn’t throw it. Do you think daboll tells Allen he has to throw it to Diggs even if he’s triple covered and just ignore the wide open receiver? No, you go through your reads and find the open man. Edit- Misread
  13. Where did I say it defined his day? You were blaming daboll for not getting Beasley involved in the first half. I pointed out a couple plays where Beasley was open, Josh looked at him and forced it to Diggs.
  14. Leveon needs elite run blocking for his running style. He wouldn’t do much better than what we have
  15. We need to stop running out of the same formation and we need to run block a lot better. Changing up the formation we run out of should help run blocking because the defenders won’t be selling out to stop the run
  16. Those two or three passes killed drives and on those two or three passes he had an open receiver, one of them Beasley where he was looking right at him and chose to throw it into triple coverage. That’s on Josh not Daboll. Daboll did his job scheming a receiver open and starting joshs read there.
  17. Josh had enough time and the open WR was on the side of field he was reading for at least two of the forced passes.
  18. Our passing offense took a hit because Allen wasn’t finding the open man and taking what defense gives him. There was a few times in first half where Allen was forcing balls to covered receivers instead of taking the easy throw to a wide open one. Allen played like 2019 Josh.
  19. If Beasley is open and Josh forces a ball to a double/triple covered receiver is that on Josh or Daboll?
  20. Why weren’t they coached not to do those things. They’ve been in the defense for years. I think they know where to line up. We’ve been beat on third and long a lot. Teams figured the defense out. Buffalo716 broke that down earlier in the thread. If the offfense knows what’s gonna be called and we call it, wouldn’t that make it a bad play call?
  21. There was a few times in the first half where Beasley or Davis were wide open and Allen forced it to a double or triple covered Diggs. I think that’s more on Allen needing to through his reads and finding the open guy than the game plan.
  22. Tre hasn’t been himself this year either. He’s been getting beat since camp
