I’ve done it but all depends on how the property manager or whoever feels that day. Chances are they won’t notice but one of the lots I used to use to park for free got shut down because people started tailgating and making it obvious they’re not going to eat at the restaurant. Have them park and go into the mall or store and pick them up at the entrance. That way people see them going inside.
