Why even keep Curtis Samuel over Elijah Moore when he brings absolutely nothing to the table and is always injured

We would have to clear more cap space to cut Samuel. So cutting or restructuring someone. Didn’t have to with Moore. Like others have said Moore also wanted to be used more.

After his burned relationship with former db coach Butler, and his comments about the bills he's not coming back lol

I think Butler is now the secondary coach at Kansas State

Butler is at Nebraska doing the same thing he did to the Bills secondary. Should have made him the bills DC over Babich. The secondary hasn’t been the same since he left.

Agreed. Maybe he's changed but he was an absolutely god awful human being during his playing days. Treated his wife horribly. As documented by her in her book. Some people ignore that because he could throw the ball fifty yards on a dime. I don't. That's the best thing about Josh. Seems like a genuinely great dude.

He has changed over the years. He’s a much better person now than he was in the 90s. However I wouldn’t go as far to say it’s impossible to not love him.

    12 plays?

Shakir motion inside screen, Johnson motion outside screen, wr motion opposite way of run dive, wr motion to side of run off tackle. Shotgun motion Hawes and run behind him, mesh, mesh with motion, orbit mesh, something with a comeback route.

    What am I missing?

nah, we are playing bad after a hot start (and a bunch of injuries) but if we are a bad team, who is a good team?  every team ahead of us in the nfl have losses to lesser teams and sub par performances.  the broncos needed lemmony snickets to beat the freaking giants, indy gave the game away vs pitts, the pats lost to who, the raiders or miami or something early, and needed luck and fortune not to drop back to back games to atl and tampa.

we are as good or a better team than every team we lost too, and way better than miami and atl.

Their start wasn’t very hot. They squeaked out wins vs bad teams and have looked a mess the entire year.

The heart and soul of the team is dead. The “culture” we were preached about was suppose to prevent this. If the culture is gone, what is left?

The culture really wasn’t great for championship football. It’s too happy go lucky let’s all be friends. For a feel good story it’s great. Not really the best for let’s dominate our opponent and hammer them into the ground.

Brown also gave up on at least 1 pass play while Josh was still scrambling around trying to make a play.

On a related note, Brady’s refusal to keep a TE or RB to help in the 2nd half is an embarrassment. Part of the coordinator’s job is to make adjustments.

    Friggin’ awful.

Have a good blocking TE and a reserve lineman that has played blocking TE a bunch in the past. You’d think it would be common sense to put them in to help a line that is being abused. Nope.

I have an idea to rebuild

In free agency, start by overpaying for someone’s gadget wr and pay like a number 2

    Then the draft is simple

    round one

Overdraft a middling prospect for need. I’d start with an undersized, injury prone linebacker in round one

Round two. You can never have too many lineman. So I’d draft a 3 tech d lineman who will get placed on ir week 3

round 3: you realized that the 3 tech d lineman will get injured week 3. So you draft another 3 tech that is a hard working, undersized guy. He will tear his acl in training camp

round 4: now we are getting serious. We need to double down. So the choice is between another undersized, injury prone linebacker

vs an undersized 3 tech. I think you choose the undersized linebacker

round 5: it’s time to trade down for pics. I’d take 2 injury prone cornerbacks that will likely end up on ir around week 6

    round 6: time for a 7th o lineman

he will show progress. Then he will retire after week 8 due to multiple injuries

round 7: time for a wide receiver. My goodness, he looks great in camp! He will solve all our wr issues

now he will get placed on practice squad. And you guessed it. He will get called up week 9 and get placed on ir week 11

    thats my plan

Seeing him throw to Knox would have been great to see him find a wide open guy, but the play WOULDN'T HAVE COUNTED ANYWAY!

I don't understand why people can't comprehend this.

Did this many people really miss the OPI flag on the play?

Yup, Knox was open because of Davis PI penalty, Kind of unbelievable how clueless people are.

IT DOESN’T MATTER!! It was getting called back regardless !

why are people so dense to this concept?!?!0

I already had to argue with people last night about this…..it was OPI anyways, but yea let’s make a thread about it 🙄

if the throw was completed to Knox and he gets the first down the Texans accept the penalty and the Bills get another down. Yes it would have been 4th and long but 4th and long is better than the end of the game.

Not sure why people aren’t understanding that.

You just might not fully understand what pace can do to break down and force a defense into mistakes.

Josh was continually in the pocket most of the game with receivers not getting any separation. We played right into their hands.

They ran some no huddle and Allen got destroyed.

After last week, I was disappointed to not see much of Gabe Davis.   Also, did Shavers even have any snaps on offense?   Instead we get worthless Elijah Moore.

Not sure what game you were watching but Shavers and Gabe were out there a lot.

Guys that can help you score on gameday are inactive every week because of Special teams. A unit that was almost completely phased out for safety reasons years ago and barely matters. We are the only team in the league that still is obsessed with special teams. Listen to wgr. The shills can’t go 5 minutes on the pregame without mention what a guy gives you on teams. Chris Brown and Sal bring it up constantly. All that to turn around and be terrible at it every single year. Special teams is the unit for the guys not good enough to play real positions. You literally don’t even have to catch a punt ever and it won’t hurt you but we still can’t get this ***** right.

Who isn’t playing that can help us score?

The problem with Daboll is that he was a one-trick pony in that if the defense stopped or shut down his passing game plan, he had no plan B. Very little effort in game planning the run game. Don't get me wrong, as he would design some brilliant passing schemes. Clearly he didn't think enough of the run game to utilize it properly and he even allowed the Giants to trade away Barkley to a division rival.

Brian Daboll isn't the answer as he might only be good as a passing game coordinator just like Joe Brady looks to be only a run game coordinator. A Greg roman clone!

Giants didn’t trade Barkley and Kafka calls offensive plays in NJ.  Kromer is most of the run game here.

I do agree that the run game when Daboll was here was meh but they also had meh backs.
