    That's awesome playoffs are underway

Frisco is a crazy good football City for being probably around 200,000 people

There's like seven 5A football teams in Frisco including Frisco

One of the wealthiest cities in the country that’s also a part of the DFW area will do that. There’s a couple football training centers there(used to see Keon before his rookie season a bunch) and a lot of things relating to sports in general. I’ve met more NFL and college coaches there just around town than I have anywhere else combined.

Apparently some Bills people have found some clips of Allen making decisions not to throw it to open-ish receivers.

In all honesty I think Allen just doesn't trust what he sees and doesn't trust his players will make the play. I think its less to do with defensive trickery and more to do with his receivers rarely being open. This can create a situation where Allen sees a man running open and then doubts he's actually open due to its rarity. "I see Coleman open, he is rarely open, the Dolphins must be doing something I don't see"

Allen has missed open receivers his entire career.  It happens a lot. It’s not a recent thing that started with this group of receivers. However this group may be making it worse. He’s bailed clean pockets as receivers were coming open only to end up in a poor situation a few times recently,

I thought at the time the Damar visit was weird. It wasn't about Damar, it was about Stefan. Look at me! He wasn't quietly sneaking out the back door after the visit. Divas don't change their spots.

He’s good friends with Damar and is at most of his charity events. Damar is at his as well.

  4. It will most likely be Solomon. The guy that was playing the position all year while Hoecht was suspended and the guy that replaced him after he got injured.

We are losing the "power"/bull rush, and ability to anchor with Hoecht out.

You could slot Hoecht at the 3 technique/4i on 3rd and 4-5. and not worry about his run defense either.  Thats the big loss, that versatility- not sure they trust Solomon or Dorian at that distance to put them inside.

3rd and 6+, absolutely Dorian on the line makes alot of sense. He did a great job "sugaring" the C and got Hoecht or Solomon into some 1-1s vs thr guard -- then basically became a spy on Mahomes/helped eliminate Patrick getting outside the pocket/rushing up the middle.

How many times did Mahomes take off successfully?  Very few, because Dorian was effective at that spy/contain role.

Edit: will just add, I think the 3 DL 2 LB 6 DBs (dime looks) is something McD has adjusted to playing against KC --- however, not sure we see that against many other teams.

My point is that Im not sure we see many 3 man DL, unless a team with a team/qb who likes to move the pocket.  That said, Dorian might not be deployed in this type of role week to week/its very matchup dependent.

They’ve been running that package all year with Solomon in that spot.

I’m interested to see who fills that role that 55 was playing. I think we unlocked something with this defense and I think it’s way more about the role than the player itself. I can see 58, 42 or 56 taking that over and doing very similar things. I’m excited about our defense for the first time since 2017

Solomon has been playing in that spot all year while Hoecht was suspended and went back in after Hoecht was injured.

I agree that Hiecht was very impressive playing a DT/DE/LB hybrid position. Let’s call it animal.

I would also like to see the Bills continue to use this position

I think Bosa would  be the best candidate currently on the team. Same weight and frame as Hoecht, and maybe a bit more explosive. And he played LB at LAC.

The argument against this move is you would be weakening the DE group to have him play a position that he hasn’t played.

I think Milano and Williams are both too light at 230ish to line up at DT

    Gotta disagree here.
Teams are playing heavy box to stop Bills run. They can do this because Bills don’t have a deep threat, or a WR that can separate in the intermediate area.

If Bills had a #1 outside receiver, the opponents would clog the LOS and middle much less.

They have been using this all year with Solomon.

Good luck with insurance, they'll want to send ya to PT first

Yep and every time PT makes it worse because they’re not sure what’s wrong yet when they start treating. PT had me doing all types of stuff thinking my bicep was the problem but I tore my labrum in my shoulder. Ended up making it much worse.

  7. Yep. Chiropractor doing traction felt good while doing it. Pain came back immediately after. I ended up having the discs that were pushing on the nerve removed and my back fused. Also had a fusion in my neck. Best decisions I ever made.

What he showed many of these young DL guys was bring the energy and intensity.  I think if Solomon wants to emulate anyone it would be Hoecht.  They seemed to plug Solomon into that role.

I hope Solomon takes his intensity up a notch. Also Solomon has been playing that role all year.

Can't wait. I'll be at the game. It'll be my first time seeing the Bills in Miami. Headed to West Palm on Friday to stay at the home of a buddy who lives there. He, his wife, his parents, (maybe his brother). & I will all be rocking the red, white, & blue. That whole group (minus the wife) are all former North Tonawanda natives. GO BILLS!!!

Do not take an Uber there if you can help it. The uber lot is a 45 min walk from the stadium through a bad neighborhood. They do have people driving golf carts to and from but they charge ($20 a person was cheapest I saw) per seat. Uber to and from stadium with the golf cart ride back to the lot from the stadium was $400

How illegal would it be for Beane to wager players with the GM of the phins based on the outcome of the game?

-Buffalo loses, the phins get Benford, Cook, and Spencer Brown.

-Buffalo wins, the phins give up Waddle & Jaelan Phillips.

Just a fun thought. The phins should be tanking this game, so I think this will be a good opportunity to get the rookies more playing time and cohesion on defense.

Isn’t the game after the trade deadline?

I'm holding off on Johnson because I think he was over tasked. I think he turns it around. He's too smart not to

He started showing signs of slowing down last year and has slowed down a lot this year. He’s smart but is that enough when your body is beaten up and slowing down?
