  1. I don't like the first pick either and I was also a Rosen guy. It doesn't really bother me what he said after he got picked, he's just a competitor and fierce. Why not feel that way? Time will tell which Josh will be better, I just hope our Josh develops. It means about 3 - 4 years to this franchise as well as McBeane's employment.
  2. If the Bills suck, and AJ flops, the clamor to start Allen will be tremendous. If you want it to be a structured easing into the NFL for Allen, the Bills have got to be at least decent.
  3. I'm hoping they work out some sort of deal that continues Allen's work with Jordan Palmer.
  4. I am no fan of the Allen pick, but that was a bunch of Patriot crap.
  5. It really doesn't matter what we think. He tied his future to this franchise by picking Allen. So how Allen goes is how Beane will go. You can vehemently be opposed his choice of Josh Allen, but recognize that overall the guy's done an outstanding job. We'll just have to wait and see how his QB Choice goes.
  6. You better, cuz your boy is not going to be ready to play for a while. We need AJ to be efficient and to operate this offense if we stand a chance of being decent next year..
  7. That won't see the field for 2 years.
  8. Yeah I'm hoping for some good news in the draft today. I don't know about RI, he seems to be off the rails right now.
  9. Allen. If Rodgers relied on running and flinging he wouldn't be in the NFL long. It's okay to pull off a wonder pass now and again but it's no way to make a living in this league.
  10. Well the article said someone's going to be wrong. Either NFL talent pros or statistics. All we can do is wait and hope that the stats don't tell the whole story, because the stats tell a bleak story.
  11. Why? We have an untested guy at center and two cast offs from other teams at tackle and guard. What could go wrong? Well to be fair, Groy did fill in pretty well for Eric Wood when he was out.
  12. I don't think that's what they have in mind for him. He's going to be in the Kyle role. Actually they'll play him all along the line I bet.
  13. If he climbed the pocket and did his progressions more rapidly he wouldn't have to be running around flinging in the ball.
  14. Really impressive! Look how many times he was double-teamed and beat it. He does look like Kyle!
  15. Any starters and those groups MB?
  16. In the pocket Drew Bledsoe was like Hans Solo frozen in carbonite. I don't like Allen at all but man the guy can move, come on bad comparison.
  17. I think you got it right. Throwing motion would seem incredibly difficult to change. Darnold's going to have an issue, then again Philip Rivers seems to do okay. As far as the feet go, it just seems when the bullets are flying they revert back to their old habits and start winging it, particularly guys with big arms. We're just going to have to see and hope for the best.
  18. Agree. It's radio after all. Just keep the meters moving and commercials running. At least we have a sports talk station.
  19. This is exactly where I am. How many quarterbacks have we been told could be coached up, learn better footwork, get a better throwing motion in the NFL. It's extremely rare. We just got to hope beyond hope that this kid is a one of those rarities. This franchise seems to like big arm quarterbacks that need to be taught the position and how to process at game speed. Here's a short roll call, Rob Johnson, JP losman, EJ, Cardale. I'm not optimistic.
  20. I would have rather had our picks and Mason Rudolph then Josh Allen any day.
  21. He also missed a lot of appointments for the pre-draft visits. Really stupid but he just went to Washington.
  22. By not selling the farm to get a project quarterback won't do anything for the next couple years. If you're going to go up and get your franchise quarterback get someone who can make an impact right away not have to learn how to play the position as many analysts have said.
  23. They should be. With a guard that Oakland didn't want to resign and a center that Cincinnati didn't want to resign as our possible starters, what could go wrong?
