  1. Bathetic, arousing pity especially in soapy water?
  2. Right. Sorry, I'm just anxious to see what the Hell we got as a team this year and the last two weeks of threads have been tedious to say the least.
  3. Christ, Thursday can't come soon enough.
  4. Who said I did!? I got the gist from the bogus poll, still in total, it's just a dumbass thread.
  5. This is possibly the dumbest thread I've come across in many a year, and I've seen some beauties.
  6. Well then I wouldn't pick us to win any game just yet. Let's see I'd we have a core comptence at QB, adequate fill ins at LG and center and receivers that can get open. Let's get a few weeks into TC at least.
  7. And that's a distinction you have trouble comprehending?
  8. Depends, who is playing QB for them?
  9. Let's see what we look like after TC. We have enormous question marks at quarterback, receiver, left guard, center and possibly we could be without Shady. I wouldn't make us a favorite against anybody at this point.
  10. He just needs a better first step. If they can teach Allen to be accurate should be able to teach Shaq how to get off the ball.
  11. That would suggest they can make first downs and control the LOS. Looks like a tall order from this group.
  12. Let's hope, but don't forget that Groy and Bodine are both in the mix for starting at Center and/or at left guard. So they both may end up starting.
  13. That would be the worst case scenario. I got to believe he'll see game time probably late October, early November.
  14. Fair enough but that moron wasn't wrong about EJ.
  15. I'm thinking playoffs may be a few years away at this point. I see our defense peaking and our offense in the rearview mirror. Both sides of the ball are not in sync.
  16. Bodine is durable, maybe that's because he spends so much time getting pushed around. He's not depth, he's in the mix to start, which would be a downgrade on the OL. If Shady is out, we are in a world of crap on offense, Hell, we may be already. I really feel McBeane made a major miscalculation on offense.
  17. Not buying it. You still put pieces in place so when your quarterback does evolve he will have some talent on offense to work with ant not a bunch of Jags. Sorry I'm not buying it. A good FO doesn't completely ignore one side of the ball.
  18. I'd say yes but Joey Chestnut already won the hot dog eating contest.
  19. Maybe, but he also thought that Bodine, Ivory and some of the other free-agent cast-offs he picked up this year are going to be starting material or big contributors. I'm not optimistic. I think they ignored the offense and we're going to pay for it.
  20. This front office chose not to make any significant investments in the offense, this year. And I think we'll pay the price for it now. They focused entirely on defense except for moving up for a quarterback, who if works out - a big if, won't play for a while. Yes Wood, Incognito and possibly Shady were things they didn't expect, but that's what a good front office plans for - the unexpected. So this is the offense that the FO decided was suitable and we're just going to have to live with it. There's still time to make a few tweaks, but I'm not optimistic.
  21. He's feeling the heat to raise that completion percentage to 57%.
