  1. Cover 1 did a nice breakdown of Hollins' game. He will bring more to the table than Sherfield did, but that said, he's not WR2. He does have a knack of giving QB's someone to throw to in a pinch. Check out the Cover 1 video. He's a good pick up. But we need WR2.
  2. Happy for this. He runs hard and is a nice change up to Cook.
  3. I do, I do, I do! Weird it did that, but such is posting while at work...
  4. Von did. When he was Von.
  5. Von did. When he was Von. Von did. When he was Von. Von did. When he was Von.
  6. My sarcasm meter was pegged when I read it, so thinking the latter.
  7. Maybe we can trade Mack Hollins for him now.
  8. The Mack Hollins? Damn. Didn't see that coming. Mostly because I never knew he existed. Looking like a long Free Agency for our Bills.
  9. Burns is a good example. I'd rather extend Groot now than let him hit the open market. Snap percentage is a interesting point. Groot is mid 50's percentage wise. I wonder if he views it as a bonus as it prolongs his career and keeps him fresh for more effort in his snaps -- or if he thinks it's holding him back from better sack totals and higher value?
  10. Extend him. Elite at setting the edge, run stopper and developing nicely in the pass rush. He reminds me of Phil Hanson. So not a game wrecker but all-around great DE.
  11. Wish him the best, except for twice a year. He deserves to make a living.
  12. Lot of cap space difference as well. Jones is an excellent DT and what we need right now.
  13. Agree. That's why I wonder if a trade is coming.
  14. Far from insane... He swallows up two blockers and is dominant in the run. Before he was hurt, started penetrating and impacting the QB. He allows Oliver to be Oliver.
  15. 100% I wonder if Beane has a trade up his sleeve. Still need a #1 edge, #3 DT, couple of safeties, WR 2, RB 2 and I'd like a new kicker.
  16. "..and then one day the rain came and washed all the crops away..." I get it, but eventually you have to make good on what you spend. It's not monopoly money.
  17. $7 mil here and $5 mil here and pretty soon you're talking really money...
  18. By that I mean we need a step up from our younger players and solid performances from unproven places to compete with the top AFC teams.
  19. It is. Deal with it.
  20. Beans doesn't want to be in cap Hell every year.
  21. Not a lot of room. Cap is real. Not expecting any big signings. Need a good draft and kids to step up. Going to be a rebuild year.
  22. That guy has made more money for just a decent career than anyone else I can think of.
  23. Good luck to Gabe. Good guy and hard worker. That said, I'd be unhappy if Beane re-signed him at that number.
  24. At this point, Lawson is a younger Von. Major injuries and lost the burst that a sack artist needs.
