Yep. This is the deal plain and simple. He's playing a long game and got us out from a lot of bad contracts. He's also entered us into some questionable deals and we'll see how they play out this year. I do fault him for the OL. He did suffer an unexpected loss of our interior OL, but he had time to do something more about it than the stiffs he brought in. I still have strong faith in his vision and plans. And at the end of the process, if Allen pans out, he's a damn genius.

What pushes some over the line to blind hatred of people is beyond me, but I got to believe Bills football isn't one of them.

Interesting thought. Out offense isn't going anywhere this year and Shady would be a huge asset to Jimmy G. Got to get a OL starter as part of the deal however.

With zero pass rush and zero pass protect, I'd say 6 games would be the ceiling and 4 - 5 wins likely. That said, I thought we were that last year. We have a tougher schedule, our LBs are really suspect, secondary a bit weaker and QB a real guessing game. Our skilled players, outside of Shady, are lackluster. Let's see what the coaches can muster out of this group.

I did say Coleman wasn't going anywhere. Foolishly, I imagined burning a pick and millions in dead money would keep him around. But I forgot our love of dead money this year. That said, good riddance. The FO took a shot at position of need and missed. At least we didn't prolong the error. However, I'm not sure Foster will be around that long.

When he was here, EJ couldn't go 18-22 hitting the water from a dock. I know it was against scrubs, just saying good for him.

Hats off to AJ but also to EJ. Last night against the Seahawks, EJ went 18-22, 255 YDS and 3 TDS. Good for him.

All in all a fun Thursday night. And if Ray Ray is okay, we got off w/o any damaging injuries. McCarron may played his way into a trade.
