  1. Nobody played well. Both D and O lines are embarrassingly bad. Secondary was awful. QB play was poor and we seemingly have no skill players. If this is really the talent level we have, it's going to be a dreadful year. So much for working in Allen and not overwhelming him. I expected us to be shaky and didn't think we get a W. But I didn't imagine we would be so completely pathetic.
  2. I have carefully read and reviewed the contents and thoughtful comments in this thread. I have concluded, I have to have one of these shirts. I've decided it's modern folk-art. I didn't see it offered on the Identityink website.
  3. Another Sucky and Bully thread? Really? It's time to put these guys in the rear view mirror and watch/talk football with people who actually enjoy and think football and not live for crapping on everything.
  4. Just draft fresh legs next year.
  5. Keep in mind Preston wasn't that good. Lots of tackles, but most down field and he was poor in coverage. Triemaine has all the tools but needs some time to develop. But be prepared for some mistakes early on.
  6. I listened and remain convinced he was a talented guy who just got lazy and bitter and should have been gone long ago. So he feel bad, boo-frickety-hoo.
  7. Methinks the author doth protest too much.
  8. Come on give him his due. That was a nice pass right on the money with a safety over and a cornerback under.
  9. Hey I'm happy he's your hero and that you still get to listen to him. The great preponderance of the rest of us say good riddance. He was like your blowhard uncle coming over the dinner and just bloviating everyday. He was unreadable for the most part. Writing a good column every now and then doesn't warrant doing it everyday. I stopped reading him many years ago. I want back and read a few columns earlier this year and sure enough, same old crap. Same old formula. He was lazy. Time to move on, park it on the porch with a glass of lemonade let the kids have the sandbox.
  10. oh crap, I don't believe in revisionist history. The guy liked to p*ss in everyones Cheerios daily and that's how he made his living. He wrote the same column over, over, and over again. He was lazy. I don't miss him at all. Good riddance.
  11. Arm talent is more than velocity, but velocity means more than next to nothing. I'll take velocity on the out pattern, thank you much. The three quarterbacks you mention all have good arms. Cam has the cannon however. And the turnovers came just when the game was on the line.
  12. He's been non-existent. I'm not expecting much even if he does return. If we don't blitz on every passing down, the QB can grab a bagel before he has to throw.
  13. Peterman's velocity ranking at the combine was 49. DeShaun Watson's was 45. Valid. I'd say he should just avoid out patterns to the right.
  14. And there goes another quality off season thread... Can't this wait until we're a month or so away from the draft and creating ridiculous threads?
  15. Can't argue with most if it. although half of those posters will disappear once the Pats suck again. They are the worst bandwagon fans in the league.
  16. Or not quit on routes.
  17. Why, they did us a favor. We'd of just given them even more than we gave up and McBeane still would have taken Allen.
  18. Until the new guy shanks a punt to our 24 yard line or bobbles the placement on a game winning field goal.
  19. Old blood and guts. Our blood, his guts.
  20. Well I'm at 5,000 and change, so I still have time to plan. The infamous "Green Lightning" neon sculpture still exists I understand, despite Jimmy Griffen's efforts to bulldozer it.
  21. Well, he did have twin pearl handled revolvers...
  22. All true, but remember the words of General George Patton - a good soldier bitches!
  23. And how long has this been in the planning? Well played!
