Who will get the most catches Sunday?
Green Lightning replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Padres? -
McBeane is just getting the Jauron realization that it's hard to win in the NFL. They had everything fall their way last year. They may have actually believed, I doubt it, but maybe, that purging your talent and replacing them with JAGs would not see a big drop off. It has. I think they are both genuinely shocked that we suck as bad as we do. All that said, it doesn't mean the bigger picture plan they have is wrong. We all knew in our heart this team was taking a step back this year, but we were at peace with it. If Allen worked out, it would be worth it. What we don't have peace with is getting humiliated like we did at Cincy and on Sunday. There's only so much tolerance for that, so McBeane needs to at least make us respectable. Sunday is going to be huge. Moreover, if Allen isn't the guy, McBeane will be toast.

McBeane's way of rebuilding makes no sense
Green Lightning replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One person's rebuilding is another's dismantling. They purged the team of it's talent (albeit big contracts) and replaced them with JAGs. The OL acquisitions are really terrible and really have one skill player of note. Now it may work out in the long haul, but don't tell us this isn't a tank. The pretense we got better this year borders on insulting. I know it's a fine line, you don't want to admit a tank, but most of us get that a step back to move forward is reasonable. I expected to take a step back. I didn't expect to be B-slapped all over the field. As noted in the Outlaw Josie Wales, "don't p*ss on my leg and tell me it's raining." -
Nobody should be doubting Beane or McDermott
Green Lightning replied to SoCoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anytime you get multiple blowouts over 17 games, you better worry and it's only natural to have a few doubts. Sunday's loss wasn't just a loss, it was a complete and utter disaster on every front. The worst ever opening day in out 59 year history and second worst loss ever is not a hill I want to die on stating nobody should have doubts. So for now, I'm staying the course, but several more of these and you're going to have more doubts than you know what to do with. -
It was the worst opening day in Bills history. Positives? It wasn't the worst day in Bills history. No, no positives, a complete implosion.

Is it time for Kaepernick?
Green Lightning replied to mynmisoli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is it time to stop starting Kaepemick threads? Yes. -
Valid point.

Well, the board implodes when the team does - which is did today. They were pathetic, to a man.

Every coach and player should be totally embarrassed and humiliated. There was NOBODY to like today. Christ what a pathetic effort.

Bills vs. Ravens Postgame ?

Why the Hell not? Vlad is beyond bad. Let Teller play and learn. We're going nowhere this year, let's let the kids have the sandbox. -
Bills vs. Ravens Postgame ?

Cold comfort. He shouldn't have to have been put in that position, but I'm not going to give anyone any "atta boys" for not embarrassing themselves. Because in fact, every player and coach on the team should be embarrassed. I've seen too many of these kind of Bills games since 1963 to have any stomach for silver linings in a turd of a game.
