The End of the Lamar Jackson Era

Perfect cancel culture. Don't like another opinion, delete it. How about not agreeing and moving on and not decide what others can read or think. -
Kudos to John Wawrow!

A perfect storm yesterday for the Bills D
Green Lightning replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well a lot of the yards came in the 4th when we went into the idiot prevent D. Making them take 5-6 mins to score would have prevented the nailbiter it became. -
I agree blaming refs is a loser's excuse, but that call was ridiculous and could have cost us the game. Everybody but the replay idiot in NY saw that it was a fumble on a masterful play by Poyer. If it did cost us the game it would have been on a par with the non-call that cost the Saints a trip to the SB.

Allen checks off the final box vs Colts
Green Lightning replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, Mahomes has the SB ring and I am certain that is the box Josh really wants to check off. Step one done. -
That kick would have been good from 60+ yards. On a cold day to boot! (Pun intended) He really has been a find. Beane does it again.

How Good or Bad was our Defense,Really?

Triples down on dumb. Could be a record going here! -
A perfect storm yesterday for the Bills D

Solid take and I agree. We lack elite in our DL and front 7 actually. That said I also think we sold out the scheme to stop the run and challenge Rivers to beat us, and he almost did. Beane will focus on D next year and maybe add another OL. -

And your choking continues. Doubling down on dumb is no way to go through life son. -

Two plays? Wow, by your standard every one choked yesterday. What, did Rivers insult your mom or something? He executed a near perfect game plan yesterday. If their kicker doesn't doink a gimme we'd have been in OT. Thank God for Josh, Diggs and Bass. -

He carved us up and coverted a ridiculous amout of 3rd & 4th and longs. With no time outs and seconds left sideline throws were his only option, and we covered them. His receivers dropped key passes and even the missed TD toss hit his receiver's hands. What game were you watching? -
Milano should have been benched
Green Lightning replied to Back2Buff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you watched the Colts destroy our D in the 4th with two consecutive TD drives (one under 3 mins and one under 2 mins) then this is not a dumb thread. Consistently giving up 3rd and longs and 4th and longs was brutal to watch. I know this board loves Tremaine as the "modern coverage MLB" but his has been, and still is, a major liability stopping the run. On screens and dump offs he is regularly owned by the OL and cannot shed a block. Milano is active but small. He got pushed around engaged. I think more of Klein yesterday would have helped on run stuff and blitzes. -
Defense. Good lord dreadful. Giving up a TD in the 4th quarter in under 3 mins followed by giving up a other in under 2 mins was horrendous. The inability to get them off the field on 3rd and 4th downs was unbelievable. Zero pass rush and no ability to cover any of their TEs. This is not a SB D and our only hope is Josh outscoring everyone. If the D would have made them work for a 5 or 6 min TD it wouldn't have been the nailbiter it was.

I'd be concerned with Williams in pass pro. He's the change of pace back for power, but PS to the playoffs is a big damn leap.

What Did Indy do on D?
Green Lightning replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well that works if you can generate pressure with 4 DL and an occasional blitz, and they did all day. -
Boy Beane got it right on that pick. Two rooks, Davis and Bass were fundamental to this win. (Add Moss to that)

And this nails it. I am exhausted. I had 800 steps on my fitbit before the game. It's now at 9600. I'm hoarse as hell
