  1. Agree but I hope he improves enough to keep Watson out of the division.
  2. Not with this soft interior Oline. Mitch "the holder" Morse was a miss. Cody at best is a back up and Mongo is willing, but not good enough. Stud D lines have owned them and that won't change.
  3. Looked like a game manager to me. Let's check back when DCs have some tape on him and scheme for him. Well, neither were stellar today.
  4. That was largely on Daboll to me. If something is not working do something else. We were out coached out played, out toughed and our star receivers could not get open. Our CB 2 is a penalty waiting to happen. CB depth is glaring. Disappointing on so many fronts.
  5. Big concern. For example Mahomes, hasn't won the MVP in 2 years and didn't win SB last year -- an obvious regression. With fans back in the stands making noise, Josh won't be able to function, I read it on the Internet. Suddenly, the Bills' future looks bleak.
  6. He's playing for his job and doesn't have the nerve to put his job in the hands of a rook. Scared money. I don't see how he keeps the gig after this year. His offenses are putrid.
  7. Of course Beane will say that. That's his job. Use you eyes and read what the those who follow and report on the team say. Beane was just praising Bam Johnson a few days ago and now he's gone. That's his job. Wallace is our CB 2.
  8. Watching this team for 50 years. The only thing Jackson is is competing for is a spot on the final 53. If anyone on this board believes he outplayed Wallace I haven't seen it, because he hasn't. Not close
  9. Point being is that coaching matters. Trubisky had bad coaches and a bad scheme. I can see him starting in the league with a team that gives him the right support and scheme.
  10. Stories like an inaccurate and raw QB from a weak conference developing into an accurate NFL MVP candidate are rarer.
  11. He was solid and fair. Good luck to him but I was happy for once with ESPN coverage.
  12. Nah, Wallace on the deck and Jackson is on the dock.
  13. I think that ship has sailed. Wallace is the clear winner and it wasn't close. For the purpose of a SB window this year, Jackson is not much of a comfort behind just a serviceable CB2.
  14. Beane had plenty of chances to upgrade CB2 but bet on Dane Jackson. It didn't pay off. We are really thin at CB.
  15. Short story, Tremaine either puts up or shut up this year. Excuses are over. He's not a big contract investment at this point and I have little confidence he will be. I hope to be wrong.
  16. Addison > Bashem and Bam. Especially in rotation. If this is our year, go with a vet.
  17. Not much evidence of that Friday. He seems to have an aversion to stepping up in the pocket as well. I have him ranked as serviceable on a pinch.
  18. I think we are far too thin at CB. But let's see what Dane and Wildgoose can do in preseason action.
  19. This is another example of why he should be choice #1 for a head coaching job next year. Impressive way to start team building for a new season.
  20. Thank God we have Beane. We have to put our big boy pants on and maintain a solid roster because we have an elite QB! I just like saying that. Damn what a great day!!!
  21. I lived through all of that as well. But without him we'd have no pro football. The way he set his estate all but assured the Bills would be here. I am eternally grateful to Ralph, warts and all. Hey, we went to 4 straight SBs and took two AFL championships. The game passed him by but learned how to endeavor to persevere and live to see the team we have now. I chose to look forward and that is only possible thanks to Ralph.
