  1. Been on this board a lot longer than you and followed this team since 1963. Bite me.
  2. Conservative? For 2 quarters we missed 80% of the passs thrown and couldn't buy a 1st down. With the way the D played, it should have been over at the half.
  3. Dominating in clock, yards, blocked punt and up by 3 in the 4th quarter, and after seeing them lose every one score game this year, yeah, white knuckle.
  4. Billsy unesscessary white knuckle of a game. 2nd and 3rd quarter were just abysmal. We also need a punter. Terrible game management by McD. All said, back to back division titles and the Pats puked. Good day.
  5. We all love Josh but get real. Tips happen for a reason. Pass too flat, didn't see the defender, misjudged the arc, whatever. Nobody's perfect and he was throwing heat on most passes. It happens. He was off a day. So what, we won running.
  6. He was taking the short stuff early on and moving the ball. Started some hero ball later. Some of those runs could have been short passes. Makes me nervous to see him take those shots.
  7. Well, there's that.
  8. They are Falcon fans and this year need their support animals.
  9. There was only a 3% possibility I would post on this thread until I understood that there were several scenarios that would make it a 100% chance I wouldn't.
  10. He couldn't beat out Levi Wallace, so now he's going to be a star?
  11. Many if us wanted Beane to address the OL and CB depth in the off season. He didn't. I think we're paying for that now.
  12. Nope. Pittsburgh, Titans and Indy. Big and tough teams that know how to beat soft teams and that's what we are.
  13. Today reinforced what I knew -- we ain't all that. We are a soft team that cannot run or stop the run. And like it or not, that's how you win games. Forget about the #1 seed, forget about the division IMO, and it's a long shot for the wild card with losses to Pittsburgh, Titans and Indy. We are soft and easily pushed around. And if you didn't like today, you're going to hate losing two to the Pats, because thay can run, stop the run and play methodical end of season tough football. We were built to beat KC. Mission accomplished. But now every team with real D and O lines will slap us around. So that's why I didn't watch today. Went deer hunting and knew we'd get our asses kicked-- and we did. Time to rebuild the trenches and hope for a better outcome next year.
  14. To quote TO "No not really." Likely you meant debacle, which it was. Like Motor?
  15. Klein made plays all over the field today. I like him against run heavy teams like Indy and the Pats.
  16. I can honestly say I am plenty concerned. Their D is solid, run game solid and Jones is living within his skill set and effective. They don't beat themselves like we are prone to. I think whoever wins our head to head wins the division.
  17. Was thinking the same. This line is abysmal.
  18. Yes, because he knows our crap OL couldn't power run on an arena league team. If this team needs a yard they have to pass or have Josh lug it when he's flushed out of the pocket.
  19. Don't you have a baseball season to mourn?
  20. Our OLine sucks and league knows it. Can't make a yard, can't contain a 4 man rush and can't pick up a blitz. Instead of a 2nd round DE that is a regular healthy scratch a OL like Creed Humphrey would really be useful now. But we stood still with mediocrity. The entire interior OL is awful and will derail this team. That Daboll still calls 1 yard runs on 1st down is numbing. I can't remember a game that disgusted me more. Our D holds them to 9 eff-in points and we lose. Christ.
  21. Dreadful, pathetic and dreadful. And please don't say it's just one of those games. I actually called a loss today and was eaten aluve on our weekly family Bills text thread. This team is not good enough to win it all and right now I don't think we win the division. Any good front 4 will cave in our soft and weak OLine. Josh looking shaky under pressure and Daboll called a crap game. Josh can't do it all. With a zero run game we are a one dimensional mess. Cody and Feliciano are awful. Morse can't move a LB a foot much less a DT. Beane built the team to beat KC. Mission accomplished. Now maybe we take a break from drafting DEs that are healthy scratches and get some interior OLine talent.
  22. Against inferior teams, agree. Against the Titans we couldn't get off the field. Even Tua converted several 3rd and longs. Let's see how we do against Tampa. I don't care about stats that include the bad teams, we struggle to get off the field against playoff caliber teams that we will need to beat to win it all. Our pass rush just can't finish.
  23. Great QBs will carve this D up, but it will take long drives of no mistakes to do it. This D frustrates me by pressuring, but seldom getting the QB down. Like last year, they give up 3rd and long routinely.
  24. Our interior OL is sevicable in pass pro but woeful in the run game. I was hoping Beane could find any upgrade before the trade deadline. This OL cannot make a yard when needed on the ground and I think it's the difference that will keep us out of the SB.
