  1. No way a second.....NO EFFFIN WAY. A 3rd tops or unload Donte - or Marshawn or Shobel.
  2. I agree 100% The new FO boys are not kneejeck. Build us a young, strong and tough team through the draft and don't worry about the negative nabobs and their constant handwringing.
  3. Ridiculous. Maybe if Donahoe were here. Ask the Texans if they regret not taking Reggie Bush? Running backs have a short life span and there's plenty of good ones. There are only a handful of great LT's, NT's and QB's and we need one of each. This is a deep draft for wide bodies and we need to focus on that.
  4. He's not suited for the 3-4? He's 6' 6" and weighs 350 pounds! What the Hell is he suited for, a speed rusher? He just doesn't want to play NT because it's hard work and not glamorous. Poor Fat Albert! He's got a $21mil bonus coming and he doesn't want to play NT. Boo Frickety hoo. Who needs that crybaby underachiever at that money? Maybe they'll cut him before the big pay day and and he can ponder what position he feels like playing this year.
  5. You forgot stopping the run. You don't have to rush the passer if your line is blown up for 200 yards plus rushing every game. We need and OT, NT, LB and QB and you all can fight about the order, but no success unless we get all of them.
  6. We don't "have" to take him if he's a reach at #9. I guess Buddy knows best, but we need OL and DL and we need them pronto or no QB will be left standing and we'll never get off the field on 3rd down. We need wide bodies!
  7. Wed don't "gotta" do anything with Claussen. He's so good the Redskins gave up a boatload of picks instead of grabbing they guy. We need big bodies this draft and a QB later on. I see nothing in Claussen that merits a #9 pick.
  8. That's crap. McNabb chose Washington over the Bills and Raiders. Get over it. Buddy made a good offer and the guy didn' twant to come here. So let's move on and quit blaming the FO for every little set back in your life.
  9. Yeah, we get it. But the guy comes from a great system that has demonstrated success. So that's a great place to draw FO talent from.
  10. Jeez, don't you hate when facts get in the way? Good catch. Fact is McCoy should be on our radar. We have a tall QB now that didn't accomplish much in college and has has the same results at this level. It would be nice to have someone who knows how to win.
  11. Agreed. I'm just freaking happy to have football guys back ay OBD.
  12. That's just asinine. What the Hell is wrong with you? I'm no fan of Trent but that kind of thought has no place on this board.
  13. Yup, that's exactly right. Plus Wright got blown off the line many, many times. He was tough but just too small. Same with Kyle. He's not built to tie up two OL , he's meant to penetrate.
  14. Then there's the Jets...great OL and superstar QB....errr, not so much. Trent could have excelled behind the Jets line and running game. Sanchez varied from sucking to not sucking too badly and look how far the Jets went last year. How great did Brady look on his butt after the Giants pounded him in the SuperBowl? How great did Aikman look when his line and running back were gone? Great QB's look like crap when they have no blocking and no running game. Why is that so difficult to understand?
  15. I agree. He played well with a rotation of has beens and scrubs around him. Center will need an upgrade sometime, but that is far, far from our biggest need on the O line. He is a huge upgraded from the prior years.
  16. I was in the business for years and you have no clue what you're talking about. You have no idea what his editors wanted or how many times they changed gears on him or what else was on his plate. Hey JW, don't let these spoiled fan-brats keep you from letting us know what's going on. We appreciate you!
  17. Thanks. Not sure how valid this guy is but I'm an addict to this kind of stuff. Interesting way to get a grasp on draft choices we haven't had a chance to see play.
  18. What he said. We won 6 games because we had horrible line play, bad quarterbacking, and couldn't get off the field on third down.
  19. He can't. But T-Master's point is well taken. We are a NT & OLB away from a respectible defense. Now Buddy & Chan need to have a killer draft.
  20. He tortured, dismembered and electrocuted dogs. He's a POS. NO EFFING THANKS!
  21. Fair enough. That choice made me wince like no other since the announced the name Erik Flowers. That said, I think Buddy and Chan are not going to puke it up like that.
  22. +1. Why can't you guys just let it go. Peter's is gone and good riddance. Move on for crying out loud. Anybody who watched him play this past year cannot honestly tell me that is a pro bowl LT.
  23. If the proven guy doesn't want to finish his career with a rebuilding team, it ain't going to happen. If McNabb signs and extension, it's a no-brainer to give up a #2. If he won't, what's the point? Give up a #2 for one year? I have faith Buddy is doing what he can on this.
  24. Wow, that took some determination. Thanks for doing this. It's a good read. Loved the J.P. reference.
