There are at least four threads that are a variation on this theme. QB Vs. OL...etc. Let's use this one to make a definitive statement and them let this thread rest. I vote with the above. Fix the OL, DL etc, without reaching for a "franchise" QB. This team is full of holes than need fixing. The Jets are the best current example of this philosophy. Fix the damn trenches and the QB situation will work itself out.

+1 No way Seattle pickes a QB after this week's deal with San Diego.

Bruce and Phil Hanson were both about the same size as Kelsayand played in a 3-4.. Kelsay had a good year last year. Let's let him come to camp and see who wins the competition. Agreed. Dismiss posters who automatically state the guy's no good or will never excel. They know practically nothing about football. I certainly do not know enough about a LT prospect to make any reliable judgement. The guy showed some good things last year. Moved well, blocked well upfield, but did have some strength and durability concerns. So don't give up on him but don't avoid getting some talent at tackle based on expectations of DBell flicking the switch this year. We need depth and talent on the Oline and he can be part of that.

Well put. At the end of the day, we have to trust that Buddy knows what he is doing and go with it. Our QB could come in late rounds, already be on our roster or off someone's present roster (See Seattle/San Diego) and all I can say is hang on, the ride should be fun.
