He plays scared and he just can't rely on speed in the bigs. He also looks like a twig out there. If his hands improve he could be a ST'er and maybe a gadget guy but I don't see him as starting caliber.
Love Beane, but if you took the words 'Yeah, you know" from his vocabulary he wouldn't be able to answer a question. Every answer he's ever given begins with "Yeah, you know."
Cosell is one of my favorite and most believable football experts. Great insight. Thanks for posting this. I'm on the road and missed this. And I can't agree more on Drake. Reminds me of James Hardy.
I've seen Tyreek turn enough 7 yard crossers into TDs to get why the Fish wanted him. Best way to maximize Tua's only strong suit, short accurate passes.
So, still a chance then...
I agree with the above, but Beane holds on to his high picks like they were his own kids. Likely we'll still have Cody to kick around in 2022.
For sure he is. He's a beast. But there's no guarantees with an ACL that he'll have his full game speed and cut ability by the opener. For some it takes longer to get it back. We need some quality depth at CB.
