We've seen worse on TSW from some with thousands of posts....not often but it happens.

If Buddy grabs Tebow at #9, if we trust what he has been saying, he thinks the guy can play from day one and start. I don't get the feeling that's the case. I'm beginning to believe he'll go defense first and/or trade down from #9. We need a NT and if he rates Dan Williams that highly, he'll have a two-fer. Grab the NT we need and keep him away from Miami.

Yup, at the end of the day, you can beat up the girl and blame her, and she has some liability. But she's 20 and intoxicated. He's a G'damn pro bowl QB who is prowling like a predator for such a victim. Disgusting. And for those who say if that were their daughter they would blame her as well...Really? Agreed. If we can't stop the run we don't have to worry about rushing the passer - and we cannot stop the run.

If the NFL is a passing league, explain the NY Jets? They couldn't pass, everyone knew they were going to run the ball adn they still imposed their will and did so. In the NFL, you have to run and stop the run. We cannot stop the run or get off the field on third down. We need a wide body NT as well as a pass rusher. As it stands now, Maybin may be able to rush standing up but we have nobody to plug the middle and stop the run. If there is an elite rusher at #9, so be it, but it cannot come at the expense of starting the year in a new 3-4 with no real NT.

Umm, last I checked that albeit crap line still produced a 1,000 yard rusher. Those rooks also played with a different cast of charactors every week. Our interior line will be solid for years to come. Give credit where it's due - those were good picks.

Reverse picks 1 & 2 and you may be right. Although Brown wouldn't be my choice at LT.

Stick with it Push! You're right on target with every post on this thread! This last entry is dead on. We should have been playing our young receivers last year and not TO and Reed. Buddy's got a plan and he's got the stones to see it through.

Build with the draft and add mid level FA's and build this team from the inside out. That's the route the PATs are seemingly back to after their flirtation with splashy acquisitions. Miami reportedly wants him with the 12th pick as they are now set at receiver. If the Bills want him they better grab him at 9.

Then stand by and judge for yourself instead of hand wringing and guessing. This upcoming draft is the first where he's the man. We're all in the same boat. Give the guy the benefit of the doubt and let him do his stuff.

Great read. After the events of the past few weeks I've just let the anxiety pass and have come to the conclusion that Buddy has forgotten more about football than I'm ever going to learn. I'm going to relax, and watch Buddy do his thing. Damn, I'm exciited!

What that says is: 1) Lots of rooks will start for us because we're that bad, and/or 2) Buddy is that good a football guy to pull it off. I think it's a bit of both. In Buddy we trust.

I have to agree on this. Most people are reacting to getting Holmes for a 5th. I have to admit it sounded good. I'm just not sold on that team. They are miles better than we are in the trenches. But they are hardly a team to fear. They have plenty of question marks going into next next year. Why angst about the Jets? Let's think about the Bills.

This sums it up nicely. But the kid is a football player and plays with speed & likes to hit. I wouldn't be surprised to see him on the field opening day.
