  1. I think Stroud will stick. Others are gone like you say. Okay by me. As Chan says, I don't care who's feelings get hurt, we want to win.
  2. He does that because all the other draft threads are "woe is us" and a guy on TV gave our draft a C grade....Boo Frickity Hoo. DI's threads are OK by me.
  3. Ummm, oh year, we got three starters last year who will be around for a long, long time. Nix was in on those picks. New FO and better choices - this was a good draft. So go p*ss in your own cheerios.
  4. Yawn. They loved Donahoe's dynamic drafts and trade up/downs. We didn't. They're talking head list watchers who freak when ever a team doesn't pick the next guy on their list. They liked Maybin last year........Christ...who cares? Let's see if we're a better team next year.
  5. McShay just said Levi best QB chosen today
  6. Wow, very strong first post. Ignorant and arrogant enough to put it right out there for all to marvel. When our number one pick has 20 plus touchdowns of 50 yards or more, you can't say WOW? Hope your second post steps up from this.
  7. Well this is year one of a major rebuild with a new football savvy FO. Ravens and Eagles are far ahead of us in talent at this point so we are drafting from a much different place than they are. You are in such angst...relax, this is a good draft.
  8. The kid (Moats) we just took in the sixth looks like a natural pass rusher. Here's what SI is saying about him. Analysis: Moats has been one of the better small school pass rushers the past two seasons and has been a disruptive force, consistently blowing up plays in the backfield. He's a pass rush specialist who will be brought onto the field in third-down situations and lined up as either a one-gap defensive end or outside linebacker for an NFL team.
  9. He's throwing at stationary hoops from 10 yards out! Not a lot to read defense wise before throwing...you think?
  10. LIke the pic: Good review from SI. "Analysis: Moats has been one of the better small school pass rushers the past two seasons and has been a disruptive force, consistently blowing up plays in the backfield. He's a pass rush specialist who will be brought onto the field in third-down situations and lined up as either a one-gap defensive end or outside linebacker for an NFL team.
  11. More on Moats: Maybe a Maybin? Biography: Two-year starter who also saw action with the first team as a sophomore. Awarded All-American and All-Conference honors as a senior, while also being named CAA Defensive Player of the Year. Finished his senior season with numbers of 90/23.5/11, leading the team in tackles. Junior numbers included 65/18.5/11.5. Positives: Explosive college defensive end expected to transition the linebacker in the NFL. Explodes off the snap with a terrific first step, fast off the edge, and shows ability in pursuit. He quickly changes direction, displays speed to the sidelines, and cuts the corner off from running backs. Breaks down well, playing with good knee bend, fast in every direction of the field, and always on balance. Keeps his feet driving up the field and works hard until whistle blows. Negatives: Undersized and handled by tight ends at the point of attack. Rarely asked to make plays moving in reverse and was able to pin back his ears and rush the quarterback in college. Analysis: Moats has been one of the better small school pass rushers the past two seasons and has been a disruptive force, consistently blowing up plays in the backfield. 12. J*sus, take a breath! You're the little cloud that cried! We could have taken those guys, we didn't want them. Time will tell but from my seat, we filled lots of holes these past few days. Quite believing Kiper and McShay....they're TV boys.
  13. Man, that's the least of our issues with media. I'm still burning over the talk-over when we made our round 2 selection. I was screaming at the TV!
  14. Williams doesn't even look Polish....
  15. EasON guys like him. Big, strong and fast. We need a receiver. Another need filled.
  16. True, but it's obvious there's nothing in the draft in the past two rounds who he felt could come in and play right away. I'm just speculating that it could be Buddy-speak for bringing in someone who can play right away after the draft via trade. Or maybe move Levitre to LT and get a guard.
  17. That's correct. BTW - who's turn is it to p*ss in the cheerios this morning? The doom and gloomers are sleeping in this morning.
  18. 6'6" - 318lbs and only 29. If his injury is fully healed, he would be a stud and really give the young guys a leader. Maybe they need another running back....or a safety......
  19. Just read that as well. That and a $7.5 million contract? Pass.
  20. That leaves a hole at guard. Maybe he'd going to look at some guard depth today. Still may do as you say, reach out for a stop gap veteran.
  21. Other than the obvious cry for QB and LT, we need depth at guard, LB and receiver.
  22. Winning will sell tickets. I like what we are doing. And for the first time in a decade we have a player that is a threat to score anytime he touches the ball. That will be fun to watch.
