Running underneath crossing patterns is hard in the NFL.

Great opportunity for a trade with San Diego
Green Lightning replied to Got_Wood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Spinal Stenosis is as serious as a heart attack. It is the narrowing of the channel the spinal cord travels inside the back bone - either by some impingement or degeneration of the spinal vertebrae, which crushes in on the cord, causing numbness and loss of feeling in the limbs. In the extreme, it can cause paralysis. Treatment for mild stenosis is usually physical therapy, in more difficult cases, fusing vertebrae, metal bracing, disc replacement. In any case, getting walloped by a 300 pound lineman 40 times a game is not recommended. I’d proceed with caution before sinking mega bucks into a LT with any stenosis. -
At the end of the day this is the bottom line. KW is a good player with heart and energy. But he's not going to line up and push two guys bigger than he is into the backfield 40 times a game. If the Bills thought so they wouldn't have burned a #2 on Troup. KW will be great on third downs but Troup has to perform from day one for us to have a chance at stopping the run. That said, a front three rotation of Troup, KW, Carrington, Edwards and Stroud looks damn promising.

The OP has it right. Brady looks pretty ordinary when pressured. The Ravens just had their way and so will other teams. They'll be competitive but the glory days are over.
-
sissy peon, cystapeeing, whatever.....typos I can take but OP should just take terrell, torel, torell and pick one as his primary mistake and run with it. I'm just saying....

It's Torrell Troup. Not Terell, not Torrel or Torel. You have used three names and none of them correct.

C'mon Darth. I think the Bills are "Edwardian" this year. It's going to be Trent. You have a whole season to work through the stages: Denial and Isolation. "No way it's Trent....no F'ing way! "It will never happen. Hell, we'll get Brady Quinn...." Anger. "Buddy and Chan are F'ing idiots....they lost again.....I told you so.....Can't anyone see but me? I HATE THIS!!!!" Bargaining. "I know, they're just starting Trent so they suck and get to pick #1 next year...get a real franchaise QB!" Depression. "Oh dear God...it's not a joke.....he's our #1 QB. Sweet Jesus I can't face Sundays....why does the light hurt my eyes and the days feel so long..... every Sunday the downward spiral starts at daybreak. Must read Jerry Sullivan!!" Acceptance. "Umm, we won a game and Trent threw for 280 yards, 2 TDS and no picks....I, I guess that's good...wait, no, it is good! We won three in a row.....just breathe" And before you know it, the long WNY nightmare will be over......It's a long season and you can work through this!!!!

Buffalo Bills 2010 depth chart
Green Lightning replied to milehiLou's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know, but hey, it was a good post from someone who gives a damn and is watching the OTA's. Hat's off to milehilou. As for his predictions, I'm more set on seeing continual improvement and winning more games in the second half than in the first half of the seasons. By year's end if we ae spoilers and become a damn tough place to play and finish strong, that is a successful first year re-build. Go Bills. -
Agreed. The fault wasn't coming out, it was FUMBLING THE DAMN BALL! Okay, I'm better. Leodis is a great talent and he's moved on from that fumble with class and so should we. You can't beat up Jauron for playing not to lose and then beat him up for trying to win a game with his best returner. DJ was a bad coach but not every thing he did was wrong. Bottom line, the return guy fumbled at the worst possible time in what would have been our biggest victory of the year. It's on Leodis and he accepted that and he'll be the better for it.

Marshawn to attend this week's OTAs
Green Lightning replied to The_Philster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't be surprised if he showed up and practiced. I think it finally got through his head that the Bills want value for him and won't get it if he's #3 on the depth charts. Get in, make an impression and he may get is wish. Oh, and during that time, shut the Hell up, leave the gat at home and take a cab! -
How badly do you hate the Patriots?
Green Lightning replied to Hossage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I pretty much despise the Pats.. Shouted myself hoarse when the Giants beat them in the SB. Damn sweet game! I pretty much despise all Boston fans and teams......except the Celtics. Can't help it. Grew up on Bird and "the Chief", Cowens, et al. They were my team (except for the Buffalo Braves era, then is was Go McAdoo!) So screw the Pats, but go Celts. -
I'm Tired of hearing about the JETS
Green Lightning replied to Stussy109's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Over the past the past 30 years or so, I've come to know that the Jets, howver talent laden, will puke eventually. They just can help themselves. -

The New York Jets
Green Lightning replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We'll take a game from the Jets and they'll find a way screw up as usual. They won't get a free ticket into the playoffs this season. -
New QB possibility? Free agent to be
Green Lightning replied to BoozeCruise's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nice post Mrs. Tebow. I can see little Timmy in Canton now. Now Clausen....there's another HOF Buddy whiffed on... Oh and Colt...blah..blah...blah -
Oh you're just drinking the Yellowstone cool-aid!!!! That bad boy is going up this year just to underscore how bad our LT situation is and because we didn't take Clausen. I can just see it coming......

Chargers sign LT Tra Thomas
Green Lightning replied to Pirate Angel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ummm, really? I usually have your back but, wow...... I'd take McNeil over what we have now in a heartbeat. Thomas signing is just for depth. He's done and riding on his name. We need to address LT at some point. -
Not saying he was great, but better than anything we have now to rush the passer. A good player and teamate. We'd be better off with him, but it's done and we have to see what the kids can do. Time to move on.

Checkdowns a super-weapon in the Spread?
Green Lightning replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last year, it seemed the checkdown was the primary receiver! If the QB doesn't hit the wideouts and TE early and often, the checkdown is useless. Which brings us back to giving the QB time, which brings us back to the OL, which.......... What can we say. It's a work in progress and we have to have faith Buddy and Chan got a grip on this thing. Go Bills. -
DiCesare column: Schobel wanted his schedule
Green Lightning replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A Jim Kelly or Bruce Smith....ok. Schobel? Nice player but not one to set apart from what everybody else is expected to do. It's a shame, he would have made us better this year. Clearly it's time for the kids to step in and step up. -
Sweet Jesus I'm trying to read this on an I-Touch! You have enough material for 5 threads! Don't think you're negative, just too long for a post!
