Good riddens? Wow 26 posts, top notch in spelling and grammar.... how about you leave the board and DieHard comes back?
I cannot believe this stupid thread went five pages! And I just added to it! Jesus, just wait until the cut down, this board will blow up with stupid ideas.
Relax Coach. He'll be on the PS and there'll be plenty of depth players available after the cut down. It's year one of a rebuild. Can't fix all the holes in a year.
He's learned a nice dip move and comes off the line like he's shot from a gun. Gets manhandled on the inside. Still he had some good pressures tonight. Needs to be moved around more and maybe he will when more blitz packages are installed . Terrible against the run.
Umm, preseason and second year OL players. They are just going to continue to get better and display better technique. They are both physical, athletic and game. I look for steady improvement and dominance from those two.
Well yeah, we're rebuilding adn it's going to take a few years so Bell will fit that timeframe perfectly. Guys, we have too many holes to fill in one year. Why burn high picks on a position that we may have already have with some development. Time will tell. How many of the first found LT's have had any impact?
Hard to argue those points. Especially the point that we all have shopping lists but Buddy's is different than ours. He has shown that and I think he has gone a long way in convincing the skeptics on this board that he knows talent. So let the big names come and go, if Buddy signs them they will fill a hole we need, and we have plenty.
So far I like what I see. In practice Chan was in control and you saw the players absorb his confidence. Then came the Skins game and I was shocked how poorly they played. Then the Indy game...we don't know yet which effort reflects this team.
I just think we need to see a few games that count before we talk swagger. Swagger is for winners - but so far - so good.
I have to agree. Fact is - we need him to provide pressure on the QB or we'll be crap on 3rd downs once again. From watching him in PS and attending some practices, I have to say that any counter move he masters will be effective because he is ungodly fast off the line. He's a project but he's our project and I look for him to make strides as the games go on.
I felt that way until visiting TC and watching the two PS games. I think Chad Jackson is going to be the guy. He's faster and consistently gets separation moreso than Johnson. Maybe that's why Johnson hasn't has many balls go his way. He works hard but looks to me like a situational possession receiver and not a NFL #2 receiver.
Oh. Odd I can see Dean's then. I like the mobile skin but miss the avatars . How do you access the old skin? BTW - tremendous effort and great job on this! Thanks!
I am certain that I would go under center, point and bark commands impressivley ala Peyton Manning, then fumble the snap and get buried. So in a way, that's an NFL play. Lame, but that would be my repertoire. Fire away TSW, I stand by my claim.
