Promo is asking some good questions. I have to believe if he doesn't play a game this year other teams are going to look at him but want him cheap. He's better off staying here a year to prove he's still a player.

The OP's points are not dismissed here. As negative as they came off the thought is not lost, but I do reserve Monday for a bit of a "savor the win" time. The OP's later point is one that I set for this team at the beginning of the season. That is I wanted to see growth and continual improvement as the season went on. We are seeing that. We don't have a wealth of talent but we have heart and guts and our young guys that are getting better. It was good to see Carrington and Troup out there. Urbik and Wrotto did ok. Keep playing them and keep improving. The Steelers will be tough and a good test for our guys. I'm looking forward to Sunday and dammit, ain't that what it's supposed to be like with an NFL team?

Injuries and it's still too early to judge. Let's see how it plays out.

And by the way, where's all the Chan haters who cried and wailed because we didn't get Shanny and a "big name" DC like Haslett? I said early on all I want to see of the Bills this year is steady improvement. And we're seeing it. More draft picks, better choices and we are on are way.

I think this is right. In order - OLB/pass rusher - RT - ILB - DE. If Mallet is around in second round, grab him. If not, get some studs who can do more than pump iron and run fast. We need big, strong guys who can play football.

Christ I'm sick of these threads. Okay QB at all cost posters - who else besides Luck would you burn a #1 or a top 4 pick on? And Fitz at all cost fans - would you really pass up Luck for what's available at DE or LB? For me, no way I'd burn a#1, 2 or 3 on any of the other QB's I've seen this year.

School is not a fan. He's a Bills hater. In fact Schopp is a baseball and hockey guy and a trading card guy. I wish he'd stick to that instead of playing the "I'm so smart and your boring me" role he assumes on air . But my remedy for Schopp is easy- I don't listen.

I like Stevie...he's Really progressing and we should lock him up.. But calm down guys. He doesn't have the speed to be an elite #1 receiver. Let's see him get open against the Jets and other big time D's first. Let's see what he does double teamed.

I like Fitz. he's the perfect QB if only he had consistent accuracy - but he doesn't. When the game is on the line he's as apt to toss a pick as a completion. I say he has earned a spot on the team but he's just not our franchaise guy. On a team with lots of talent he'd win a fair amount of games. But we don't have talent and he cannot carry this team. So TSW, let's quit the extremes. Fitz doesnt suck - period. But he's not the answer - period. He is a great choice to groom our next QB.

Who gives a rat's a** what Glazer thinks. Buddy's job is to improve this team and this move may well do that. If he pans out great. If we resign him, all the better. But to sit on his hands and not take a shot at signing hime is not an option. As PTR said, Glazer also wrote we'd be crackerdogs not to take him. Bottom line is that most of the media are pant-loads who have to either fill copy inches or keep the meters moving to justify their existance. I try to give them as little credence as possible and 90% of the time that attitude gets justified.

Carrington is the perfect size for a 3-4 DE and he's the future. Play him. We're 0-7 with Stroud, Kelsay et-al, let's see what the kids can do.

My voice was hoarse yelling "just run the damn ball!" Chan called a great game but g'damn it some positive yards and we wouldn't have needed OT to begin with. Then again in OT. I just don't get it. As for Fitz...gutsy game but if he had just some more accuracy we'd have this game as a win! Spiller was wise open.

I think you'll see Troup developing nicely. He's still learning technique but he's plenty strong and will get stronger. He's already getting double-teamed and I think he'll be collapsing pockets soon. I like Coleman and Moats and wish they would sit Kelsay and play Carrington.

Media trying to create a controversy. I say play Fitzy as long as he's productive. If he crashes, play Brohm, if he crashes, play Levi. Short story, why even discuss that stuff while our offense is at long last productive?
