  1. Dork's just frustrated. Let he among you that hasn't felt this way cast the first stone. We all just want to win, but we all knew this season would be a bear...and it is. I still have faith in Chan & Buddy.
  2. All LT's get beat. Especially against a freak like Allen. D. Bell ain't the issue. RT and depth are as far as the OL goes.
  3. To begin with our OL, DL and LB's were suspect. Knock out multiple starters from each unit and you get what we got today. This shouldn't be a mystery.
  4. This entire thread is like what would happen if Jerry Sullivan and Mike Schopp somehow spawned offspring. Maybe Paladino could bring a baseball bat to OBD. The team is banged up and lost. Last week you guys weren't menopausal.
  5. Two extremes. Brown would have the Bills doing no wrong and Dope & Lab Dog have them doing nothing right. The rest of us live in teh middle and would appreciate some balance.
  6. That damn Moats..... Hey, the kid's got some game. With all the injuries at LB, DL and OL, we're about to see what the rest of the kids got.
  7. We're down a center, guard, his back up and a RT in a few games. Gosh, that can't have anything to do with it. As for you, why not join all the other "fans" who no longer post here? It would work out better for all of us.
  8. All that talent and physical ablity and stupid, stupid plays. He cost us at least 14 pts., and couldn't cover a fire hydrant today. With McGee declining and Leodis regressing......what? We draft a g'damn CB again?
  9. Bell had a bad game but by count one of a very few. McKelvin is brutal. Get beat for a TD then cough it up again. 14 Point turnaround thanks to Leodis
  10. One more time. Dont listen to those idiots! Dope is a Bills hater and Lap Dog is his Greek Chorus. Save yourself the heart burn and just shut them off.
  11. So Carrington is too small to be a 3-4 DE? You must be smarter than Buddy. What's your magic size for a 34 DE coach?
  12. I sort of disregard the first serveral games. They were awful and evaluationg talent and learning a new system. From Baltimore on, they started playing as a team and have been in every game since. There is still a talent drop off that will take a season or two to address. I like the trajectory, but you are correct, at the end of the day our record is all that remains. I still feel a lot better at 2 and 9 than I would have thought. It's because I see weekly improvement, heart and effort.
  13. Bruce Smith played at 265 - 270 for the most part. Carrington is 280.
  14. It is a real picture of it but I couldn't find a pic that had the neon lit up. It was a sequential dancing penis with a top hat and cane that the artist said was Mr. Peanut. Jimmy Griffen wasn't amused and ordered it bulldozed. A court order stopped it. It was set on Elmwood Ave. Nice catch.
  15. Amen on that. Smith doesn't crack my top 10. Also, albeit a career cut way too short, but at his healthy best, Bo Jackson was unstoppable.
  16. Agree. But a good RT is still a priority.
  17. Agree - plus: 1. Move Wood to center 2. Improve RT (Wang, FA or pick) or every TE we have/get will just be a blocker 3. TE who can run and catch the damn ball 4. A run stuffing ILB 5. A more accomplished DC That puts us at 10 wins.
  18. We were playing the Steelers who shut down the run on the best teams but cough up gobs of pass yards. Our line is still weak on run blocking and the game was ours save a dropped pass. Chan gameplans based on our personnel and what the other te gives us. It's called good coaching.
  19. Lighten up Promo! I like the path we're on but he has a valid point. Like it or not there's a reason why we've lost every close game. I trust Buddy & Chan but ultimately being a great 2 & 9 team is the same as being 2 & 9. I'm not much for moral victories but I'd take a win over the Pats to make it a successful season.
  20. At the end of the day you're right Biscuit. But I'm in a bit of a mourning period at the moment. He makes the catch and ....well, he didn't. Me and flood of fans will have to get over it and understand these are young guys. I was really happy to see Carrington, Mosts and others starting to grow. We beat the Pats and all if forgiven!
  21. My pre-season thoughts were that I just wanted to see them improve over the season. They are. It still doesn't make this lose any easier. I hate the Steelers and their jerk-off fans. Watching that pass soar to a wide open SJ was elation, then absolute disbelief he dropped it. Again, Stevie is far from the only reason we didn't win, but you just cannot drop that ball and call yourself an NFL receiver. SJ and Fitz are kind of in the same mold. They play their hearts out but are good for a pick or a drop a game. And they come at the worst possible times.
  22. This team is all guts and still short on talent. I agree with would - coulda - shouda criticisms. But to call them losers is wrong. They lost - they're not losers. Washington....losers. This game killed me. But at least I felt something and actually believe we are on the right track. But that's for later thought...right now I'm pretty hollow.
  23. This was just another brutal loss. All due respect to SJ coming of age...but I'm sorry. You have to make that catch. That is what separates good receivers from average receivers and good teams from average teams. He choked. He's got to live with it. He's not the only reason we lost this game but g'dammit, make the damn catch.
  24. Methinks the OP is coming off a bender.
