  1. If OBD found a cure for cancer Sullivan would blast them for taking so long. He believes his mission in life is to daily p*ss in everyone's cornflakes. I never read or listen to him.
  2. Troup and Carrington will be starters next year. Wirh a season under their belts they will be better and sfronger. We have a lot of holes...why replicate what we did last year.
  3. Yup...you nailed it. We need a GM who wants to win and not one who wants players to feel secure on a 4-and-11 team.
  4. A valid point worth making. But I'll go with the guy who has watched him the past few years and go with his Hell No.
  5. You're dead nuts on this. With a $4 mil cap hit, what's the point of cutting Lee? He'll rebound and gives us speed. Lee, Stevie, Roscoe, Nelson and with Easley coming back well....why mess with that?
  6. Last year I'd say why not? This offseason, we have some really promising receivers and I think Evans can rebound. I say let's invest all of our bucks on defense and get a great TE & RT.
  7. This just shows ingnorance. So if Norwood makes the kick, we had all the pieces in place? Get some football knowledge.
  8. Play the damn game and win. It's football and you don't flip a switch with a pro athelete to "don't try." Don't assume all the other teams we are in a so-called competition for a top three pick are going to tank either. At bottom, the notion of play to lose is ridiculous as is this thread.
  9. Anyone getting starter's jack and gets beat out by Tebow is not someone I'd make a run at. Draft a QB and groom him behind Fitzy.
  10. I like our draft and undrafted rooks this year. Batten, Moats, Coleman, Carrington, Troup, Easley, Spiller, Nelson, Roosevelt, Jones, Wang and Howard have great upside as starters or good depth. Buddy's waiver wire picks have promise. I would have like to have seen Spiller explode as the top pick but his talent is obvious. I agree we need more production and some solid acquisitions on D next year (especially at LB) either from the draft or FA. We need a RT and a TE as well. But no one bats 1,000 and it's going to take a few years to stock a talent-barron team with good players. As critical as we can be, I don't have the time and desire to maintain a negative burn about our picks. We've made headway this year after a decade of aimless drifting. This thread began with some props to Buddy and I second the notion. Okay, have at it TSW corrosives.....
  11. Boo Radley?
  12. I imagine it with Howard Cossell making the call... "down goes Brady...down goes Brady...down goes Brady..." Don't cross the Moats!
  13. I'm swilling some Ny-Quil as I type this. Either you are Steve Largent or full of sh*t. That said, thanks for getting spell check for this post.
  14. This sums it up nicely. Chan is the right man at the right time. We're 4 & 10 and I'm strangely confident in Chan. Go Bills!
  15. Moats knocks smarmy Brady out of the game... maybe for the rest of the season and Bellicheat watches a 13-3 season go for naught.
  16. Who's playing better? You can count them on one hand and have fingers to spare.
  17. You hit it right in the head! Put Fitzy out in the open market now and see what he's worth. He's playing at a high level right now and appears to be fearless, decisive and best of all, productive. Short of Brady and Manning, who's playing better now? And how would those two be doing w/o a running game, TE and an ever changing OL?
  18. I remember that post because I watched him in TC and in that brutal Redskin PS game. He looked then like Kelsay does now in coverage. Since the move to OLB he's shutting everybody up and I'm happy to be shut up. Go Moats!
  19. So why are you hating on the Irish? And you can vouch that Newton's gonna save the Bills? He looks to be a Maybin who can pass. It takes more than physical tools to be a NFL'er.
  20. I'm with you brother. Great post from a great fan!
  21. I really believe, in my heart, you're 8 to 10 cards away from a full deck, 12 to 15 years from a GED and 20 to 30 points from a 70 IQ, and good luck on ever being taken seriously on TSW again.
