  1. He's mega fast and can strike from just about every angle...like a kickboxing Pernell Whitaker back in the day. Like his chances. Rua is crafty and knock out artist as well. Hope they didn't bring Jon along too quickly but all of us here in ROC City are backing our guy.
  2. Take out the two TE games and the Brohm stinker and I think .Gailey did some great things with Fitzy and the offense.
  3. VickisaPOSdogkiller here, I'm not being hard on the guy. I'm just matching his passion and intelligence. I'm just sayin' I also have a passion for English.
  4. I'm going to change my handle to either "kolbisapunk" or "VickisaPOSdogkiller". I'm leaning to the latter.
  5. It's hard being a slave in the NFL
  6. Enough of hoping. Take Dareus and know he'll make an impact from day one.
  7. Officially? Really....why you must be that Quinn shill. Well I'll take the "gapfiller" over "untested only performs against scrub teams" Quinn anyday. Last I checked, we gave up yards on the ground by the acre.
  8. There will be haters always, pathetically hating. It is the nature of TSW. So posters such as you all are a welcome read.
  9. It's hard to make a wrong pick when you have so many holes. I'd still fo DL at #3.
  10. Like to trade down and get instead of burning a number 3.
  11. He won't dominate in the NFL. He doesn't do any one thing better than anybody else. He'll be solid, not elite.
  12. Tgregg99 is either a former player with a stake in this or a state worker p*ssed off about Wisconsen. Every one who works has a boss. Freaking deal with it.
  13. Thanks John, as lame as it sounds, I just keep thinking about FA, picking up a RT and looking forward to the draft. I have to deal with litigation and union issues all the time and I would love it if we could just talk football! Thanks for hanging in at TSW.
  14. John, Nice b'slap of Spartacus. Now back to the point. Where the Hell are we now? I can't see a court telling owners they can't lock out just because a few high profile QBs sue.
  15. +2 This. It's time to pick a real difference maker in Dareus.
  16. Give me Dareus or give me death.... Well at least I'd be PO if they didn't pick him.
  17. NGU! Good to hear from you. I was hoping you'd say they like Dareus. Great you are back!
  18. My best case scenario at #3 Dareus Bowers trade down No to any QB's or lightweight, fast LB's, DB's or receivers. Go big and nasty.
  19. Cooz was never more than OK. He turned into Kelly so all's well. Barber was old school and to be fair to the FO at the time, things were changing in light speed with player's attitudes, agents and salaries at the time. While an interesting tidbit from the past,I hardly think this is relevant at all today.
  20. I could live with any of those scenarios. Interesting piece from Astro - thanks.
  21. Reading the OP felt like talking to a customer service rep in Bhopal. I'm not certain what the point was, or is. And Maybin was not a luxury pick, he was a bad pick .
  22. ...and finish dead last against the run again.
  23. That would be my preferred scenario. A solid signing for depth. After pulling guys off the street the past two years it would be nice to have quality depth on the OL.
