  1. I would have too if I only had two healthy H-Backs with one of them getting old. So you must be writing in between geometry and shop class. Likely the guy who gets stuffed in lockers and couldn't climb the rope in gym class. Ease your hostility little bro. And BTW, I'm certain you can import a few other emoticons from app store somewhere.
  2. Did you trip on the ice as kid? Wife run off with a goalie? Unusual hostility for a sport. I'm not a fan of curling but I'm not bitter about it. I can see you in a dive hotel with one 35 watt bare light bulb on scowling at a beat up rabbit ears TV about hockey......
  3. Yeah, looks like I'm downwind of an emoticon b'slappin!
  4. The Jets window of opportunity has come and gone. They have some good players but lack the character and coaching to be champions. They will do well this year but lose again in the playoffs. All the time the Bills will be improving and coming hard and in a few years knock them off before the Jets even sniff the big game. So let Spag's rant. We're having some fun on TSW.
  5. Hey emoticon boy, did CJ not sign an autograph of something for you? Why the hostility? The board gets the diff between yards from scrimmage and all-purpose yards. We get what the OP was saying. You're the one just seething negativity about CJ. Jesus Beevis, calm the hell down and let the rest of us be upbeat on CJ's chances of breaking out this year. Is there an emoticon for a little cloud that cries...that's what you come off like.
  6. Many of us surmised as much. Maybe we ought to sign Elam and let them have Donte. As long as DJ is looking for DE's, let's move Kelsay to the Bronwies for some of the boatload of draft picks they traded down to get.
  7. Dre is big on thumbs down emoticons today judging by a few threads already. CJ is going to produce this year. Be positive about the guy.
  8. If we go 8-8 with our young rooks and second year players as starters, how is that low expectations? That would be huge progress.
  9. Hockey rocks and the Sabres are on the move. A Sabres game can be just electric. I love both sports and feel sorry for you. Go Bills and go Sabres!
  10. Many on this board clobbered the hiring of Nix and the subsequent hiring of Chan. These good ol' boys have a plan and it's taking shape. The next generation is now in place and our FO is for real. I, for one, am pumped about our team's fortunes. Go Bills! Some people spend their lives looking backwards - others look forward. We know where you fall in that equation. You're the little cloud that cried.
  11. Apparently Champion thinks Rashard is out of sync with reality as well. Just becuase we're free to say what we want to say doesn't mean we all have to repect what he said or for a company to continue put their product line in his hands. We just have to respect his right to say it.
  12. That make the most sense and seems a lkely scenario.
  13. I've heard it's like attending a mandetory Corporate Board retreat.
  14. I love it that Chan and the staff used that time so wisely. I hope this draft pans out as it has me pretty excited about the possibilities of up to four starters and several solid back ups coming from these picks.
  15. Valid picks. Frankly there's just too much to choose from and you can make a case for a hundred scenarios and lists.
  16. No brainer: 1) Maybin 2) Williams 3) McCargo 4) Losman 5) Hardy
  17. Now there's nobody to carry on the mantra....It's hard to win in the NFL.......
  18. Really? He kind of reminded me of a Trent Edwards with better legs. Gave me check-down flashbacks. I know they did like Ponder. Read your Dareus piece but haven't heard your take on teh draft. Did I miss it?
  19. This is Buddy Nix's team plain and simple. Thank the freakin' heavens. After all the handwringing over Nix's hire and Chan's hire on this board I think people are starting to get it that these good ol' boys know a thing or two about football. Go Bills!
  20. You know, there's some truth to what you say and there are plenty of Donte haters due to his draft position and who he ain't. All that said, anyone who would pay top ten money for him is just nuts. He's a good football player but not elite. Sign him for $3 mil, but man, nowhere near $5 or $6 mil. That's just stupid.
  21. As stated earlier in the thread, thanks for saving me typing time. You're dead on.
  22. So it would be better to have a consensus #1 pick that underperforms? We have a lot of them. Troup isn't a reach if he performs this year. My point was you're dumping on the guy for not being a star in year one. Nix knows more than you or I do about football and he likes what he saw in Troup. So let's see. That's how you build teams and assemble talent. You don't make a fuss over them not being all-pro as rooks. If Troup equal's Raji in his sophmore year it will be a second round pick equaling a first round pick so how is that a reach? I would suggest dimissing draft pundits and listen to the guys who know football.
  23. What will be your excuse when you puke out of the playoffs again this year? You have a lot of talent on that team, particularly on D, but you don't have the character and discipline to take the hill. Too much Blah, Blah and chest thumping and you can't back it up. Sort of like your posts. So far, in the last decade, the Jets and Bills are tied for Superbowl appearances. We will be again this year. And keep looking over your shoulder because we're coming.......
