  1. Wow...with all the ab and core work he did in the offseason it's surprising it's a back injury. Hopefully his conditioning will mean a shorter recovery.
  2. Thanks for this! I have to shake my head when I read crap like I'm reading in this thread. KW is not a typical NT, Troup is. Big difference in what they are expected to do. That and the guy has a freakin' club for a hand right now. At this time last year, B.J. Ragi was struggling after a lackluster first year. He turned on during his second year and I see no reason why Troup won't follow suit.
  3. The best thing to do is not to listen, and tell the Program Director why you no longer listen.
  4. I think the quote was people are more concerned about where a player is from rather if they can play. Sounded like a judgment on Naamen but you could be right in your take. Either way it's welcome news here.
  5. C'mon Senator, root for the team but try to be realistic: Bills 44 Chiefs 3
  6. Eball says it right and says it best..... +1 (BTW - GOOD LUCK FITZY!)
  7. This welcome news, but confusing. Buddy sounded pretty negative in his interview yesterday when asked about Roosevelt. Seems like a one day turnaround.
  8. Probably a better way to go - pick the worst line that started together. Winans, Kampa and Yeates would certainly qualify as bad. Usually even babmd lines had a decent player or two. There is a much deeper line up of bad Bills lines on offense.
  9. Compile your own All-Star worst Bills Starting DL: The McPEW line Mike McBath Walt Patulski Earl Edwards Waddy Harvey Or the PAC-TAK Line Jerry Patton Al Cowlings Bob Tatarek Mike Kadish
  10. I seem to seldom agree with Turbo but he's right on all accounts here. A one year turnaround on the DL....and the little guy us our NT!
  11. Coleman is slower and that's why Moats stuck. Moats can rush the passer and fill in at ILB. Not a headscratcher.
  12. I like it. WMD. Now if only our offense could Shock and Awe!
  13. Yeesh...after cycling through a dozen linemen mid season the last few years you think tbey'd have a better plan than that.
  14. Rush the passer. And he'll do damn well.
  15. Bingo. +1. I would say that as bad as the OL is, it's better than one that had Wrotto and Cordero Howard featured. And while I liked Hangman, he spent most if his time getting pushed backward.
  16. Another year, another bad OL. Those guys are the key and the ceiling ain't high for this group. We'll have to hang on for next year' s draft.
  17. You're right. The Pat way is to shoot you in the back.
  18. Fair question. They let Maybin compete at OLB and didn't move him to safety. Moats outplayed Maybin last year. Maybin sucked and they cut him. That's how it works. Moats should have been given the same opportunity. We'll never know about Moats because he never had the opporrunity.
  19. Hardly, just not a jerk.
  20. I agree. Let him play and prove it. Don't say he's too short and bury him in a place where he will fail. No excuse here. Let him compete or don't have him in camp. All else is crap.
  21. We've played in KC just about yearly and always in KC. Not saying it's a conspiracy, but it is p*ss poor scheduling and unfair to us. The OP doesn't deserve your rude response. He raised a issue and you seen to know it all - fine but show some class and maturity.
  22. We'll we won't know because he wasn't allowed to play his natural NFL position because of some arbitrary height requirement. BS. If he "ain't good enough " let him do or die on the field and not in a position where he is set up to fail. P*ss poor job of coaching on this matter.
  23. Moats is getting screwed...period. let him compete at OLB before announcing that he can't. That kid will be a solid NFL backer and apparently won't be for us. He must have done something to p*ss off Chan but it us a huge diservice to the fans and to Moats to be denied an opportunity to compete.
