  1. God I can't abide Brady and loved the long face as he sulked off the field last night, but that is one assinine article. Had to be from a high school student contributor.
  2. I think the Brady mystique and aura is over. He's one of the all time greats but not the best ever. He makes mistakes and can even look ordinary when you knock him around. Defense won this SB, but both QB's were terrific. Today, Eli was better.
  3. m not in Bill's needs mode yet. I'm Just enjoying the long faces on Marcia and Belicheat and the fun tomorrow with the Bahstin bastard fans I have to tolerate daily. Does that make me a bad person? Screw it if it does!
  4. Wow, you must be ovulating.
  5. I was torn between corsets or cleats.....
  6. I wouldn't mind him lacing them up for the Bills.
  7. Oh God I hope not. Let's stay the damn course for once. While I'm not as optimistic as the OP (I may be after FA) I am certain we are building a solid team. A few pash rushers, speed receiver, TE and a few Lbs and we are a playoff team.
  8. This is a great question. To my mind, the only player on our roster worth a #1 pick is Dareus and he's not for sale. Who would other teams covet? CJ, FJ, Stevie, Wood, KW, Levetre and if he wasn't injured for part of last year, Aaron Williams. What they are worth now is a good question.
  9. Precisely my point, but it doesn't stop multiple posts advocating just that.
  10. Uh oh, I feel another "let's trade Fred Jackson for a number one pick and use it to get...." post coming.
  11. Ice Bowl. Get some D help this offseason and you're back in the SB. Damn, we're not close to your zip code. Thanks for stopping by though.
  12. Yeah, the Giants didn't have anything to do with it. And the fact that Rodgers was GB's leading rusher....all part of the gameplan. The Pack should really concentrate on offense next season.
  13. Nice work by the OP. I like his conclusion as well. I'd take an Eli Manning over a Peyton Manning if I had the Gmen's D and not the Indy D. Tough D wins the the day. Rodgers and Brees are heading home after getting a faceful of good defenses. I wouldn't be surprised if Brady joins them next week.
  14. The Jints took a gamble on JPP ... but even at the time it looked better than our Maybin pick. If the Gmen are the kind of 4-3 that Wanny would build ...bring it on.
  15. So how's that "offense is the new reality of the NFL" theory working for you now? Maybe the Pack and Saints need to draft more offense.
  16. A wild rant but from JohnnyGold but I'm with you JG. Despite having a "genius coach" and the. "best QB ever" the Pats haven't been to the SB in years. Stop thinking they are gods and build a pass rush. The Giants SB win proved the omnipotent Brady looked pretty average on his *ss.
  17. This. Like it or not this is where we are. Let's get on with filling the gaping holes we have before getting an uber TE.
  18. Good point. I think Carrington does have it in him and maybe a LDE in a 4-3 is a fit. I would be concerned about lateral speed, but he's young and strong with long arms. Let's see.
  19. Maybe, but all we have for 4-3 DEs is Kelsey maybe Batten and Moats. That ain't gonna get it done.
  20. Carrington is a DE in a 3-4, a 5 technique if you will. He's a DT in a 4-3. Even if he "slims down" to 285, he's still 20+ pounds heavier than a 4-3 DE. Short story, we have enough good DTs if in fact Wanny goes 4-3. We need some speed h DEs in the 260 range. Think Freeney.
  21. I found it interesting his statement that 3-4 guru Wade Phillips used 4 down lineman 50% of the time against the Bengals last week. Seemed to me he's saying the scheme doesn't matter, playmakers do. Well Buddy, go get some!
  22. The Broncs gotta gift by making the playoffs in the first place. Then they got a bigger gift yet from Pig Ben who played the worst game he's ever played, albeit on just one leg.
