    Been following the team since 1963. Is what it is and I'm not changing now. When a season's lost, I'll listen to the games while getting stuff done instead of watching. Guess I'll start doing that after the Bye.

    Story on Mario is far from written...look at Peppers first year in Chicago...wasn't pretty but looks good now. Fitz's story is written ....he'll be great to train the QB we draft next year.

    D-line is average. LB's way below average, secondary below average and DC ten years behind the times. We could see the worst defensive season ever by a NFL team if there are no changes planned.

    Unless Nix or Ralph throws down, the plan is to play out the year with this crew of coaches. Maybe several more blow outs may change that.

    I'm with you on everything but point number 3. Chad is finished not I'm not sure how much Shockey has left. In the context of the this season though the rest of your points are dead nuts.

    Not a huge Sully fan but as JW notes, he has a personal life and needs to attend to family. Stand down and show some class. Hope all turns out well Sully so we can spar again about a column!

    I don't fault Chan for passing in OT because the D was giving up the pass I fault Chan for passing in OT because he has Fitz at QB and he should know better by now. Go with your strengths and Fitz ain't a strength.

    The only preseason game I had some worries after was Pittsburgh. The total lack of pressure on the last drive before the half gave me a queazy feeling that the front four weren't all that. And that has proven to be true.
