  1. We're going QB at #8. Bank it.
  2. This. Good point on the return game.
  3. Make him a tentitive pick up.
  4. Bad attitude, bad contract and bad knee come to mind. Just sayin'.
  5. To be fair, name the starters and projected starters Nix is responsible for -- drafted or otherwise. That's not being an apologist, it's just what is.
  6. The Bills must relish away games.
  7. At the prospect of seeing another season of teams pounding us for 200 + yards rushing a game -- I sure hope you are right.
  8. Thanks, sounds like our last LB signing. A signal they feel set at LB? I'm not feeling it with what I see on paper.
  9. Hey Bot, What can you tell us about Chavis? Depth or serious playing time?
  10. If they don't trade down they will go QB at 8. It's Nix's last year and he's promised to have a franchise QB in place before he leaves. Too risky to wait to 41. Bank it.
  11. So given the chance, you wouldn't take Russell or Kaepernick at 8? If they feel he's the Franchise guy, then take'em and get a freakin' QB in here.
  12. Just stop. Cordy will be a pro bowl LT. He stays put.
  13. I would take two 2nd round picks for Byrd in a heartbeat. However WEO has a valid point. Maybe they should let Whaley do the second round picks.
  14. This is a nightmare scenario for me as I don't want Geno or Corderelle. I think both ars going to be busts.
  15. Well that's better than drafting a CB, RB and a punt catcher!
  16. Gotta agree, but I wish we had the luxury to keep a guy like that around. The fact is we don't.
  17. You may be right but i hope that's not the case. I'm figuring he has a certain type of player in mind and will plug the position accordingly.
  18. That's right. Good catch. All in all I have been very comfortable with the moves made on the OL because of Marrone's experience.
  19. As for the tackle/guard quesiton, Buddy is on record as saying he rather draft tackles and move them inside if they don't pan out. ILB's and OLB's have very different roles and are not really interchangeable. Depending on where in this hybrid defense they are playing, each could be called upon to have rush skills, run support or coverage skills. One size doesn't fit all.
  20. The thought occurred to me but I was trying to stay positive.
  21. +1 There's no real downside to the signing. He'll bridge us to our franchise quarterback and will prove to be capable back up.
  22. Hey San Jose thanks for the prop. I'm trying to stay above the fray with this guy. I'm heading back to the old alma mater next week to do a alumni event for Tom McCray. Then in a few weeks it's off to the Ralph for round one of the draft. Hope all is well out your way.
  23. Why yes Randy that's exactly right. There's not a day that goes by that I do not get up and say "how can I show off my snobbery today?" Most days it's quite easy because people like you make ridiculous posts on TBD. And that's why I like to look forward instead of looking backward. Because Randy, when I look backward I see people like you--who with your adolescent tantrums, name calling and venom spewing, cannot seem to sustain an adult conversation. so why don't you just go back and continue screaming for Orakpo while I wait for our new draft.
  24. Mediocre my ass. Fergy was above average -- not elite, but damn good. He had strong and accurate arm. He would get hang-dog sometimes but by and large, a very good QB. If we end up taking one of the QB class this year and he ended up as productive as Joe, I'd be very happy.
