Yeah maybe. He also had the old man over his head calling shots - unlike now. Buddy did a good job amassing some talent. I think we are the better for having him as a bridge to where we are now. I too am surprised he didn't finish the season. But this is Brandon's team now and I like the direction we're heading. But I don't think we would have gotten here without Buddy.
It's time for the willing suspension of disbelief. After 50 years of fandom, the beast of the Bills flies into my world anew and softly alights. A little bit of Milton mixed with Jim Jones and I'm freakin' pumped for the season!
Hey I'm just the messenger. I agree with you. And the worst of it is when you're on a mobile device or phone, you can never get to the end of the thread.
Buddy has repeatedly said he drafts tackles and moves them inside if they don't pan out. I think they feel good with what they have or they are waiting for some upcoming vet cuts.
Gotta agree. That the new folks realized it and unloaded him is a great sign that they recognize talent. Shep was one of Wanny's darlings and nuff said about that. Hughes may be no better but let's see if our new D guys and coach him up.
Mel "Cordy Glenn is a guard" Kiper doesn't like our draft? Ouch. What now? If only we would have drafted Jimmy Clausen like he said we wouldn't have had to reach for a QB....oh wait....
Can we please stop these g'damn "want Tebow" threads? The answer is and remains NO! We are up to our ass in QB's now and every one of them is a damn sight better than Tebow!
I actually hope the Bills just go with the young guys and let them grow together. We will take our lumps for awhile but the upside is just tantilizing.
