    I refuse to look backwards at this point. Boys, it is what it is and we have to look forward. How do we fix the mess we are in? Let's see what Whaley's got. I've given up on Hackett and Marrone is starting to lose me. Fix the friggin O Line, prop up EJ and find a competent back up QB. C'mon DW.

    EJ had open targets and didn't see them. He's not hopeless but he's not good right now. Hackett has not put him in position to succeed as he doesn't know how. Guard play was bad. That's on Marrone. Never thought I'd say it but is Igcognito still available?

    Love you PTR but you're in denial. Maybe if EJ plays against every team's back-ups we have a chance. He is regressing, limited and unsure, but we are locked into him no matter what. And this coaching staff has done a horrible job preparing him.

    No shot at a QB in the first round next year to boot. You have to dismiss all who say it's just a pre-season game. This team is in trouble. Let's see what they do about it. The rest of the AFC must be licking their chops right now.

    I'll take that scenario. Gimme some Frank's hot sauce and I will gladly eat any words I have written or muttered that cast a doubt on young Hackett's abilities! (So help me if he plays everyone at the LOS and runs Fred inside to get a yard, the deal is off!) I'd HOPE I am wrong! Won't be the first time I swallowed my utterances. That's just crackerdogs!

    It's a game that features the top two players in the upcoming draft-one who may be a once in a generation player that the Sabres may have a legit shot at. Plus the combine will be held in Buffalo. Worth some discussion I think.

    So, you going to feel better when a stoner blows a red light and maybe wipes out a family because it's not alcohol? It's still driving under the influence. Don't drink and drive and don't smoke weed and drive. You're paid millions of dollars for a handful of years and part of the deal is you don't do drugs. Smoke all you want when you're in your 30's and retired.

    I think Fear the Losing has it pretty much right. It's go-time,for EJ and Hackett and no excuses. The back-up QB situation is vexing me and just plain stupid on the FO's part.

    Here's a plan. Let's trade for Pryor, sit him for a year as he is too far behind to learn the offense, then cut him next year. We've had some success with that approach, especially with Seattle.

    As long as somebody else does it...yup, I get it. I don't shoot what I don't eat. I don't support factory farming and the brutality they put an animal through it's whole life. My meat is free range and clean. By my standards, you're the abuser and ignorance of the consequences of your lifestyle is bliss in your case apparently ,and smug to boot. Peace on to you however.
