Spags, you don't understand. The Jets coulda had class. They coulda been a contender. They coulda been something instead of bums, which is what they are....
Maybe we score more than bad teams. When we hit a good team, our O looks like crap. Detroit had to have a cadaver kicking for us to win. Hackett doesn't know how to create an offense around the players he has. He's out of his depth IMO. But it looks like he's going to come in with and leave with Marrone.
I know where we would end up with EJ. We'd be 2 and 5 and playing the Jets for last place. Deal with it, Orton is flat out better and gives us the best chance to win right now. Now we have multiple threads on how our OL sucks and only one thread on our QB play. I'll give EJ credit though, he was into the game and helpful on the sidelines instead of sulking
An unforgivable sin, biblically, is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Since Marrone is St. Doug, I don't think committed an unforgivable, eternal sin. However, the OP has, IN!
I for one do not believe the next two games are going to be easy and we need our best players to play if they can and they are cleared to do so.
Except - when the game is on the line and the other team is on a key 4th quarter drive. Then we should sit our stud DE's so they can be fresh to run out of the stadium with a loss.
Continuity is a legit factor. But start out with the right folks - then continue with them. I think we need the outsider look at if we have the right people.
At the end of the day Murph is the Bill's monkey and has to tow the company line. Just know it going in. At least he gets interesting people to interview and talks Bills football and not food drafts.
