Well at least the team will save some coin by not hosting the draft party at the Fieldhouse next year. My interest is still high but easily half of what it would have been. I'm on record as not liking the cost of drafting Sammy from the get-go and that price looks even steeper right now. Could be worse, at least Sammy's a quality player and not a bust, but he's just not worth 2 firsts.

I am deeply dissappointed with Marrone. His area is offense and he has crafted one of the worst offenses in the league - one that cannot run the ball, pass it in the mid-to-long range or score 6 in the red zone. Bad QB's? Yes. But his OC is clueless about using his playmakers or scheming to his player's abilities and strengths. That's on him. Gailey worked around a shaky O-Line and with a limited QB. That's what coaches are supposed to do and not put one mediocre and two bad TE's on the field and suck week after week.

He looked lost and slow. Then again, he was tossed into the fray too early by my thinking. Supposedly the biggest jump in a player comes after the rookie year. He's played enough to know what to expect and should know what he needs to work on. Guess we'll see next TC.

I just want to say that while I disagree with 26 CB often, I really do appreciate his work on these post game threads. Just want to say thanks! and I am using my 3,000th post to do so! As far as being offended by the media reflection on this game - nope. When we consistently win and make the playoffs, that will change.

Hate to see that. Fitzy has guts and he was going for extra yards -- like he does. He's tough an competitive. That said, Orton may be a slew foot and slides instead of dives, but he's still vertical and playing. I guess I admire Fitz's guts but would rather have my QB playing the following week than pick up another yard or two.

Mario has had one hellova year. The guy does it all and does it with out all the "look at me" crap. Amazing game again. Have to agree with the OP's choices. Also gotta give Whaley some props. Marrone gets nine wins, he stays. He may opt to go if they force him to lose Hackett - who does need to go. A key 3rd and 5 to win the game and he empties the backfield. Granted a guy was open but that sums up Nathaniel Hackett. He draws up plays as abstract plans that could work with excellent players instead of drawing up plays that the players he has can execute.

Well, the little loud mouth got B'slapped in a big way. Now let's see how he reacts. If he grows from it and learns than good for him. If we continues the arrogance, well he's a short timer in this league.
