  1. It would have been offsetting. Waller had his mitt in the defenders face.
  2. No kidding. And spare me the jet lag, the Jags had no such issue. The play calling on the last drive, with just minutes to close the game out, was beyond pathetic. Daboll took a car wreck of an OLine with a b/u QB and pushed us to the 1 with a second left. This offense cannot close a game out. Dorsey has a top tier QB in his prime and seems clueless.
  3. Pathetic offense is hampering this team.
  4. I like the idea. Easy access w/o digging through threads.
  5. We played 50 minutes of miserable lame offense. That wasn't luck. That was bad coaching, bad decisions and terrible execution. A jet lagged team that resorted to repeated uncharacteristic penalties to keep up. Our depleted and exhausted D got zero help from the offense with a OC who apparently thought a few more shotgun draw plays to Cook would do the trick.
  6. A modicum of offensive competence for 50 minutes of the game and we wouldn't be talking woulda, coulda, shouldas. That's a big ad hominum leap. But hey, deal how you have to deal.
  7. 1st 3 quarters we played like garbage. A last flourish against prevent ... not impressed.
  8. Meh. Garbage time.
  9. Realistically, without Milano, Tre and Jones, our D went from elite to solid. Is it enough to win a SB? Maybe if the offense is on fire every week. Based on today's game, it won't be. When a team takes away our gameplan, we have no ability to scheme around it and adjust. Jets and Jags took our looks away and we kept doing the same things over and over that didn't work. The offense gave this game away and put our D in untenable positions. At least Dorsey has a ready formula for 3 and outs.
  10. Out of sync, they looked like they were running in jello. Uncharacteristic holding and interference because they were not at their best, and finally multiple injuries only to the Bills. This team was not ready to play and they looked jet-lagged.
  11. Been following this team since 1963. That was one of the most sorry-ass losses I've had to suffer through. Great that Dorsey has perfected his "3 and out" offense. Devastating injuries. Our D, depleted and exhaused just needed the goddamn offense to put together a drives. Pathetic. And whoever made the call to go to London on a Friday should be fired. The Jags had a huge advantage and it's likely why we suffered so many brutal injuries. In one week, our season looks at risk.
  12. 60 year fan here. This win ranks right up there.
  13. Good question. Maybe to give Settle more reps against his old team or light a fire under him. He was a big pick up for us.
  14. I want to discuss trading LaMonica.
  15. That side arm to Shakir was just Josh at his best. Should have been a sack..
  16. Josh's side arm beauty to Shakir was a reminder of how amazing he can be. All smart decisions today. Great situational awareness today. This is our formula.
  17. Umm, yes he can and did. That said, Murray and Harris were great pick ups.
  18. Loved, loved, loved Josh's game this week. Moved chains and played smart. OLine did their job. More please!
  19. They see a elite QB refusing coaching, playing immature football, poor coaching with a SB window closing. They want to win a SB with JA17 in his prime and not see another Billsy chapter in what could have been.
  20. Tell yourself what you want. Josh has to own this. When he is frustrated by a defense that won't let him throw deep, he gets reckless and makes critical mistakes. He refuses to take what is given. DCs know it and the Jets gave a master class in it last Monday.
  21. 32 picks in two years , most of any QB. It isn't one game.
  22. I am more concerned with our poor drafting in the early rounds. Having another 1st round pick not active on Monday underscores this. Too many whiffs on rounds 1-3 are hurting us. Beane's belief that JAGs on the OL is just fine has us where we are -- a good winning team that will never sniff the SB.
  23. And those drives could only barely answer for the lack of discipline on the four turnovers. The games on the line, fall on the fumble and cover up and not think an extra yard makes a damn bit of difference. On a key drive when you needed points, take the easy pass and don't rifle into tight coverage. It's football IQ and I think he just lacks it, especially when things get hairy. He has regressed under Dorsey. Josh listened to Daboll and was his best version under Daboll. Left to his own instincts he gets reckless. All the talk of being better and protecting the ball this year went crackerdogs with 4 turnovers the first time he got rattled. Josh needs hard coaching and it feels like he has gotten too big to listen.
