The only statement here that makes me ponder is whether or not Rex has hit his ceiling as a coach. There's been some notable growth stories, like our own Marv in his latter coaching period. Tom Coughlin stayed his course but changed enough to accommodate some player issues and did very well. Hard to say about Rex. Getting players to suit his D scheme may fix the defense issue, but If he doesn't come to Jesus on team discipline and preparedness, I don't think we'll get much farther. There are things I feel better about than I have in the past - QB, OC and the beginnings of a team identity. It's gotta make a quantum leap next year.
