  1. Well, that was supposed to be our blueprint. And we be in the playoffs if our D showed up this year.
  2. TC beat the Pats twice at the big dance. He's got two rings at the Sith Lord's expense. I'll take him.
  3. Play who's healthy, play to win and stop this crap thread.
  4. Amazing arm talent. Sure looked good yesterday. Why the Hell not take him?
  5. Bills. We trade Coughlin for Rex and stick with a 4-3. (Just letting my thoughts meander.)
  6. Good move on Sammy's part. He's looking to walk-the-walk of a team leader and kudos to him. Now go b'slap Revis.
  7. The only hope we have is if Fitz is his old self and turns over tbe ball at key moments of the game.
  8. Thank God for Bucky. Proving over and over that instead of doing the hard work of journalism, just make s**t up and phone it in. I'm sure TP loses sleep over what that hack has to say.
  9. The OP just served up one of the biggest crocks of crap that I have read on this board this year - and that's saying something!
  10. Fitz picked a great time not to be Fitz, No picks, fumbles or other Fitzy ways to fail with the game on the line.
  11. So does the team rally for the coach next week or run for the bus?
  12. Okay. Consultant good, czar bad. Whatever, we're likey to have a third party in the mix soon.
  13. Well that's tantamount to the same thing. It's Rex's staff. This, and redoing the D to get Rex-type players, I think, will be a bumpy path. Bet he does. Look for some sort of consultant to come in. I think that's how TP thinks.
  14. If DW and Rex are both staying, TP's gotta bring in a czar to make them play nice. We have some serious personnel decisions to make.
  15. I just don't care. Let's fix the mess we have and to Hell with the past.
  16. You still have to draft and develop QB's. And this franchise hasn't done near enough of it.
  17. The numbers and performance drop off says it all. Rex has done what he said he wouldn't do, force a system on players instead of best utilizing the talent he had. This passive, rush 3 crap is sickening to watch. The D quit on him today. 14 games in and they still don't know where to line up or who to cover. We wasted a year on this crap with a roster like this...it just pisses me off. The game has passed Rex by. I didn't necessarily think we were a lock to be a playoff team, but I didn't expect us to be an embarrassment on national TV 14 games in.
  18. Rex Ryan has lost this team. They are, in a word, pathetic.
  19. The only statement here that makes me ponder is whether or not Rex has hit his ceiling as a coach. There's been some notable growth stories, like our own Marv in his latter coaching period. Tom Coughlin stayed his course but changed enough to accommodate some player issues and did very well. Hard to say about Rex. Getting players to suit his D scheme may fix the defense issue, but If he doesn't come to Jesus on team discipline and preparedness, I don't think we'll get much farther. There are things I feel better about than I have in the past - QB, OC and the beginnings of a team identity. It's gotta make a quantum leap next year.
  20. You mean our guards who had multiple holds yesterday with a largely 4 man rush? I thought we were going to build a bully this OL of ours is far from it.
  21. And that had nothing to do with our horsesh*t OLine? Or our QB who likes to air it out on 3rd and short?
  22. We have a good GM, we also have a failed HC who somehow ruined a great D and p*ssed away winnable games with poor decisions and an undisciplined team. I do fault DW for his OLine decisions, too many misses.I don't know what to make of all the crushing injuries but they surely did us real damage. Nothing is going to change with either the GM or HC next season so this is all moot.
