    Well there's got to be more to this than we know. He had a great preseason and picked up the blitz a lot better than Banyard. Something's up. Well at least Miller is starting and not Vlad-the-Bad.

    I have to agtee. It's looking like a Whaley witch hunt now. This is stupid. Williams > Banyard. Hodges was solid depth.

    +1. I just don't get this thinking that you have to burn it all down and start like an expansion team. McBeane is doing it right. Because they didn't figure in the long term plan and had value now.

    Have to say that Ducasse still on the roster is a puzzlement. It's the one head-scratcher I have with McBeane.

    So replace Miller in the meantime! Don't recall that but then start Groy at center and put Wood at RG. Miller and Ducasse suck.

    I share mot of the OP's feelings. I just dont get the Ducasse love; he's awful. Why don't they play Groy at RG? He's a mauler. Peterman's a rook and plays like one. But if he ends up starting I'm not wringing my hands. At least the D is looking good.

    Seems right. I don't get why Groy isn't starting at RG. He's better than both Miller and Ducasse.

    It's called building a team correctly. Not the yearly bandaid and hope method we"ve bedn subject to for 17 years. We weren't going to the playoffs this year anyway with Watkins. Let's see what the kids can do.
