  1. I get that, but one of these days we have to stop passing on quarterbacks that work out. Read Dak Prescott, and others. You're going to overpay for a quarterback in the first round, you just are. We've been hearing "we've got to get better around the quarterback" since Marv Levy was GM. It just hasn't worked. This is the year with some talent coming out, we don't get a QB now, then when?
  2. Ahh, a prime subject for another stellar TSW thread, maybe on EJ!
  3. If your numbers are correct he's gotta stay put. Having a line (R to L) of Cordy, Miller, Groy, Cogs & Dawkins would be formidable.
  4. Haven't had a "what if Napoleon had a B-1 bomber at Waterloo" thread in awhile.
  5. Exactly, I can see a DT and a MLB in those spots but not addressing quarterback in the first two rounds is absurd. The only way I can see that as if they swing a deal for Alex Smith, or Nick Foles. Even then you got to draft a quarterback of the future while these bridge quarterbacks school him.
  6. Any if them strike you as worth moving up a lot or even a little? In my mind, Rosen and Darnold are gone and beyond our reach. I'm interested in Mayfield primarily and Rudolph secondarily. I'd burn some serious draft capital for Mayfield. For Rudolf, maybe I would hope a few slots.
  7. Well the only reason I remember most of them is because I wanted the Bills to trade up to get half of them! Would have been a bad idea. So I'm torn this year. But my gut says we got to do something and that could mean trading up perhaps even a couple slots if the right guy is there.
  8. Wrong 26, every single one of those was a trade up and you can throw Tim Tebow in there as well.
  9. Well played and a solid argument.
  10. Ryan Leaf, Manzell, Blaine Gabbert, Josh Freeman...
  11. It's like the coaches were always telling Tyrod, trust your eyes. I agree with you 100%. If they think the guy's the real deal then make the move. If you're unsure, take the players and find a quarterback farther down the draft.
  12. Groy's your guy. Watched him in the preseason and he's a Mauler. We'll be fine with him. Gonna miss #70 though. From the first time he called out Mayhem Maybin in practice I knew he was a Buffalo guy.
  13. And saved a ton of cap space while unloading players who lack the grit McBeane is looking for. All that great talent we lost and made the playoffs without them when we couldn't make it with them. Addition by subtraction in my book.
  14. That's the new normal in America now. No discussion, just exchange gunfire immediately. Fair point.
  15. Ruban adds a lot to the show and I like listening to him. Not sure he could pull it off as a host. I wouldn't mind seeing him fill in for a while to see how it goes.
  16. Ha, I'm currently negotiating a Mid-East peace agreement and I can still find time...c'mon.
  17. Happy he's not here. Good luck to him.
  18. This! Allen is the last QB I would pick. Accuracy, accuracy, accuracy. That's bottom line and Josh Allen doesn't have it.
  19. This. Playoffs, the screws tighten and the pressure separates the quality QBs. Case is ok, nit not the guy.
  20. Let's hope for Smith! Agree. I just want to move on from TT.
  21. I liked then Peterman pick and still do. He will develop into a useful player for us, Frank Reich-like. Supported TT until all the games with throws that should have been made -not made. Liked Prescott and wondered why the Hell we let him slip by. Paused a bit on Mahomes, but was never sold on his accuracy. I value accuracy and anticipation very highly in a QB. Which is why I want Mayfield first, Rudolf second out of this crop.
  22. So their doctor suck. Ours are hopefully better. I would agree, all I'm saying is that rather have him behind the center than Tyrod. And that's why while we develop our rookie QB.
  23. That's why they have team doctors. You go by what they say after the examination.
