the redskins are the only team listed with a decent o line that being said my cousin is a diehard giants fan and from watching them a couple times and hearing what he sais its all about what Eli Manning you get. If we get the one seattle got or the redskins then we will be fine, if not were in for another shootout. Im all for these close games and all as long as we win, but it would be nice to score a signature road win against a good team that is consistent year after year. Unfortunately i think jones injury is going to hurt a lot especially with this being a secondary we can go after
i remember them saying he was the safest pick in the draft and it wasn't kiper it was everyone from mayock to actual nfl scouts. Im just starting to become more and more a fan of buddys sec strategy. Wake is a small school and even in the acc probably doesn't see the opponents a marcel dareus or sheppard saw on a weekly basis.
I went to training camp 2 times just because like a lot of people in here were more then the causal fans and like to know every piece of the team. 88 was consistently making plays no matter who they threw at him. He actually reminds me a lot of victor cruz, I think he definitely needs some polishing but he has big time potential and he's the type of guy to go up and get the deep balls something we need especially with jones gone. Im not saying he's going to come in and put this team over the top, but he is someone i can see becoming a household name or at least a rock solid player in a couple years.
sheppard had another play on a vick throw where he was spying and vick threw it over the middle and without hesitation just leveled the guy for a slight gain on a slant. Even on the vick hit i don't know if anyone noticed but halfway through the hit he didn't let go purposefully so that there wouldn't be a penalty, no digging the head or shoulder just layed down a good solid and clean hit. Another guy might of gotten carried away and got a 15 yd penalty instead of 6 the other way. I see big intangibles in this kid.
olb, c.b, d.e, (olb/d.e go hand in hand just pure pass rush) w.r (1st or 2nd rounder with legit talent), pass catching t.e, o line depth and still I'm not 100% sold on fitz if a franchise qb is there i wouldn't hesitate taking him.
i never liked poz. whitner was awful in coverage but solid against the run but honestly byrd has been incredible against the run and wilson not to shabby himself. as for barnett, night and day between poz and sheppard looks very promising as well
i would like too but honestly we've said this for the past 4 weeks if he does awesome if not throw don't cross my moats in there he looked great in just one play last week
did anyone notice that the one play moats got to pass rush he absolutely blew it up, he needs more snaps i have a feeling last year was no fluke put him in on ALL 3rd downs (longer then 4 yds)
i just didn't like the play calling in the second half and 1st half 3rd downs in general. when we need 5 yds stop going deep to donald jones on leon hall thats what stalled our first 3 drives.
yea i hate to blame the refs, but i don't even know how that was called an incompletion on the field i just didn't see it when i first saw the challenge i thought it was from the bengals
