  1. Kirby, I understand what you are saying, and for the most part, I agree. I don't think that the coaching staff was sold on the WR's we had so they chose to keep the guy with lower upside, but ahead of the high upside guy in terms of current production/system knowledge.. Still not the way to build a team... If you keep one of those project guys every year, eventually you will hit on one and it will pay BIGTIME dividends!!
  2. Kirby, I will agree with the fact that Rogers probably had more raw talent than Hogan... Raw talent means little if the player can't realize that talent...
  3. I'm suggesting that maybe it doesn't matter... we have a solid WR corps... I'm also suggesting that Rogers was given one shot, he had a troubled past, and I'm not certain that things went well, while in town he lacked hustle, and he lacked the ability to pick up the offense. Having a fast WR on your team that is X inches tall means nothing if they have mush between their ears. Rogers was probably not the type of receiver they were looking for. Do you remember all the issues with Rogers, or just remember that day he looked good at camp and that he was 6'3"??? Fergy, if you want a tall WR, maybe we can kick the tires on James Hardy...
  4. The Rick was a raw talent... Even in Indy, he ONLY saw the field RARELY and they were decimated at WR this year... It's not just TBD, or the Bills organization... it's Indy too... a playoff team... respectfully, Maybe the man crush starts and ends with you, lol
  5. I'm not sure I'm old enough to understand the luxury of cheering for a winning football team... My idea of a winning team is 8-8 or 9-7 lol
  6. Didn't make any sense on my computer either... Maryland-bills-fan, can't you crack the Da Vinci code for us?
  7. WTF is that mess? I will have to look at it on my PC, it made no sense on my phone...
  8. Most logically anything that comes out predraft is BS.... I swear teams out stuff out there to cover up what is unintentionally leaked out...
  9. We won't draft anyone on the 6th round
  10. Kirby, we are on the same page... I am bouncing around between a few threads- too many people are trying to give up 9, 73, and Stevie, along with next years picks to slide up a few spots... It's disturbing...
  11. You're right, which is why we should trade back and make it HURT (the rest of the NFL)
  12. In the midst of all the trade up talk, I think what is lost is that this is the DEEPEST draft in history, and most notably at the positions we need... Most teams WANT to move DOWN this year... add picks...
  13. wait... you offer our first, third and next years second, ALONG with Stevie to move up 6 spots?? If we were NFL owners, I would trade with you EVERY YEAR!!! You just seriously stunted the Bills growth with that move, CONGRATS!! lol
  14. More like addition by subtraction and subtraction and subtraction you add elite talent... you lose cap hit, 3rd round pick and starting WR
  15. SJ is an above average starting WR in the NFL... he has proven that he can drop passes at crucial times... but this year he proved he could catch them too... That means he's multifaceted WOW, 9, 73, AND SJ.... I would o 9 & SJ or 9 & 73 but not 9, 73, AND SJ!!!!!!
  16. variable game pricing is very different than a price increase.... however this year, the ticket price increase was hidden by the variable game pricing... we have more games and pay more per game... really raking in the Benjamins this year for the estate...
  17. if a team is looking for a proven WR to help their team now, moving back 4 picks and picking up a proven WR is worth it...
  18. I think SJ does have that kind of value!!! He has a solid 3rd round value on him... If we could swing this, I would CRAP my pants... Don't get me wrong, I have a man crush with Stevie, but losing that contract, along with an upgrade at WR.... HECK YEAH!!!!
  19. Sammy will be our first pick!!! I LOVE IT!!!
  20. There is a legitimate shot that this draft could produce an all pro te AND an all pro rt for us!
  21. I just spit my beer all over my laptop... Thanks John....
  22. BASTARDS!!! I thought season ticket holders had first crack at individual game tickets.... HAHAHAHA
  23. I don't think trying to get a RT in round 3 is the best... We need a guy now...
  24. After this thread started and I started reading on him, I think thebandit is onto a serious gem here...
  25. That fact that they got their LT in rd 2 speaks volumes of how this team feels they can find talent and coach it up. I think there are a lot of people overlooking that fact. I was looking at needs, and players that should be available for the first few rounds, If we can trade back a bit and add a second rounder, I put together a nice little group of players in the first 2 days... Of course, since they made my list, they will probably all bust... lol
