I don't understand half the people on here... 1.) if we have a pass catching tight end, or people talk about the need for one, he is ripped on bc he doesn't block well... 2.) the blocking TE gets trashed because he can't run routes and/or catch well... 3.) Chandler can perform reasonably well on both of these areas, and he's a beast size target, so one would think he is the best of both worlds, but no... Let's save some $$$$ and see what Chandler can do with a more accurate passer and a QB that isn't running for his life...

I really like Mike Williams... He's had talented WR's around him before and still been a consistent producer... I'm interested to see how he plays when he is the most Veteran starter on the field...

Sammy seems like he is eager to get in and play ball, not mess with things he can't really control, he will be signed within 10 days

I think EJ has more tangibles than Dalton, and without seeing Watkins in live NFL action, it's unfair to make any type of comparison to AJ... That said, if both EJ and Sammy achieve 80% of their hype in real production, we have taken leaps and bounds in the right direction... PS- I only have 2 beers left...

Is it too late to pile on? I'm pretty sure that I can echo a lot of what's already been stated... Personally, I like CJ... Do I think he's worth top 5 money? Nope! Do I think he's capable of too 5 production? YES! I think that is the difference between SJ and CJ... SJ was never going to be a top 5 talent at his position... It's quite possible that CJ had just hit a few years of bad luck. If injuries continue to pile up limiting his production, I think his contract should reflect that. I will be the first person on here complaining if we give him a huge payday, but in full disclosure, I will be the first person on here bitching if we let him walk. You can't find backs with CJ's skill in the 4th round like you can the bigger power backs... It just doesn't happen... The Combination of adequate size, speed and elusiveness is not easily found... Sometimes he's so elusive that he even eludes the active roster...

It makes it pretty easy to post when people are posting exactly what you are thinking!! Had buffalo over spent and kept Byrd and maybe even levitre, we wouldn't be able to field an evenly talented team... We have built a solid foundation, and who knows, we may be to the point where we can squander cash on a luxury to put us over the top soon, but we certainly aren't there yet!

I think a lot of QB coaches in college focus on maximizing the most of what they can, the quickest. They don't try and develop the total package, as that takes years to do generally, and college programs tend to only have players for 2-4 years.

I dig it! I was just trying to imply the obvious, players need so many things to succeed and physical ability could be the biggest, but they need to have something between their ears, determination, and a supporting cast wouldn't hurt... Well said!
