The one year where Fred got hurt and CJ was utilized correctly, he excelled- essentially in 1/3 a season. Then the scheme and play calling change, he's splitting time agajn, and FredEx get the goal line... Of course his TD numbers are going to be down... Fred is the better goal line back, but CJ is very capable of tripping over the goal line as well... **note: that one year Fred got hurt doesn't narrow anything down, I am referring to 2012 when he missed extensive playing time- wasn't it a knee or a broken leg??

I think we need to see what things look like a couple weeks into camp, or maybe even a preseason game or two before we can declare anything

I don't see how you can look at the final numbers and yes yes or no- player X is good or he isn't... CJ has been used lightly and in the eyes of many, incorrectly for most of his career. His season high in carries is 207, was 202 last year- you know, 80-100 less than most other starting RB's... His first two seasons he averaged 5.3 and 6.7 rushes per game... Wow, no wonder he didn't have monster rushing numbers!! His yards per carry have been: 2013: 4.6 2012: 6.0 2011: 5.2 Not the mark of a bum! Use him right, and he will flourish... He does need to make improvement hitting up in the inside runs, but he's shown the ability to do that in 2012

As I just defended EJ in another thread, I agree that this team goes as far as he can take them... I think that's the general consensus, also...

It's unfair to say that EJ can't stay healthy... Virtually every starting QB throughout their career gets injured.... EJ had a solid preseason showing as a rookie and got injured before the regular season, then re injured the same injury.... Essentially, it's unfair to claim that he cannot stay healthy, and it's also unfair to say what he can and cannot do... We did not see a healthy EJ in the regular season least year, not once... Let's see how we do against Chicago and Miami before we attempt to read the future...

Agree 100%!!! The entire game day experience completely dwarfs that of watching the game on a TV. The thrill of entering the stadium from the concourse and actually being a part of the energy that consumes the stadium is second to none. That is a feeling that Connor be replicated by reaching for the remote, or your laptop! I agree, you will run into people that are hammered, but if you are infatuated with looking for those people, or making your experience about them- you won't totally enjoy your time. Go to the game, do YOUR thing, and enjoy YOUR experience... I've seen people that spend their entire day watching others, looking for something to complain about....
