  1. If we are talking next year at this time and their skills- I think Revis will be out of the equation... I think he is past his prime...
  2. I can go either way... The penalty that you described I would see fitting, I am suggesting an escalation only because that's the way the league has operated in the past... Personally, I just think that he is dirty- and whatever happens happens, I'm not going to be butt hurt...
  3. I wouldn't be upset giving him up to $5M annually, but anything over that, see ya!! If Fred has a productive year, I can see an extension, but probably not before the deadline... I'm going to look at those who have contracts up after this year- I will be back Wood and Dareus are probably the two most likely (notable) candidates to be extended early... I agree with the Searcy suggestion from above....
  4. I think your interpretation of lucky and mine differ my friend... Lol
  5. They have to be AT LEAST a dozen short at each stand... WTH!!!
  6. I came here to escape the BB debacle... Let's kick this thing up... Lol
  7. Cheating is cheating- yes... But cheating and learning from it (whether you got caught or not) is different than cheating and continuing to cheat... If these allegations are correct, and he did break the rules again, he (in my eyes) is the worst type of cheater... The one that got caught and continued to violate league rules.... I guess to me he would be a poop head cheater??? I'm really not sure how to define the levels of cheating, lol
  8. People may not be interpreting "cheating" the same as a "rule violation"... But I think that everyone is using the two words synonymously and that is a whole other debate... I believe that violating the rules in a competitive setting is cheating... I don't believe that by a student not raising their hand to talk (if that's their rule) is cheating... Lol- was just typing my interpretation of the cheating when you posted that...
  9. Please, let's all keep in mind that at this time there is no proof of wrong doing.... I think many are getting caught up in the hypothetical, which is grand, but some may think that he has actually just been caught violating the rules- which isn't the case (yet) **** <- sorry, I just had to...
  10. So the asterisk must be used fairly across the board, but following the league rules and punishments for multiple infractions should be on a case by case basis??
  11. I just read your comments to others about BB doing what it takes to win... Obviously as previously discovered, some if those antics are in violation of league rules... So you are suggesting that by not condoning that behavior I don't want the Bills to win?? And by teaching your children to do whatever it takes to win, you would condone them violating rules to gain an advantage? I'm not assuming anything, I'm just asking these questions to better understand your perspective.. We are getting somewhere, lol... I completely see what you are saying, and I agree that some rule violations may have a more direct impact on the game, and some don't... But by not treating rule violations equally you open pandora a box of whatever interpretation the commish wants to take... I think that the most fair and objective way to go about things is for the league to treat a rule as a rule as a rule... But what WILL happen- it will have to be seen... Clearly it hasn't even been proven that there was a violation- and honestly, I hope there wasn't one.,.
  12. My opinion is that violating the leagues rules is violating the leagues rules, and if this is found to be another case of him violating the teams rules, it should be dealt with accordingly... I know that sounds ambiguous- but if there is a "strike" type structure- then yes, if there is a violation, I would expect this punishment to escalate... I'm sorry... Why is it that you think that I don't want the Bills to win?
  13. Honestly- with a team like we had back then, you get a lot of players cheaper than normal- which is what I think our current problem is... No recent winning, it's not attractive to those looking for rings
  14. When you look like that, you gotta take that ass when you can get it!!!
  15. Well played... Hopefully all that from Victory brewing tastes better!!
  16. As I previously stated.... I'm not one to judge... If I had to guess, I would assume that IF he violated the rules in this scenario that this punishment would escalate from his previous punishment....
  17. You've misinterpreted my comments... Violations of the law and violations of league rules are two separate things. Obviously, legal infractions are a more serious nature in life- but in the NFL, you can't defend anyone cheating by saying "it's not like he broke the law..." An NFL coach has violated league rules on two occasions, and it is yet to be seen if he violated then in this case- but if it's discovered that he had, why is it so wrong of me to expect him to be punished???? I don't care what team he's associated with, and I'm certainly not bitching about the pats*
  18. I'm sorry, could you start over again- I think I missed the beginning of the story...
  19. I start to wonder how many players can be a much better S than a CB. Granted, he stepped his game up all around last season, but by most accounts- he wasn't nearly as good at CB in previous years as he was at S last year.
  20. "Behold my puppy, I shall name thee Swagger!!"
  21. Between the Pirates and the Bills- that's proof enough, people pull for underdogs... Lol
  22. What I would consider fair punishment doesn't matter one bit... If the league considers their messages as a violation if league rules, then it should be treated as such...
  23. EDIT: most popularly google searched sports team... -fixed
  24. I guess we will have a pretty good idea by week 8...
