I am not the strongest and most physically gifted person I know... There were several points in that video where I saw something and thought to myself- I could do that without a doubt!! Every time the showed a shot of the crowd and I saw someone drinking a beer... "Yup, I can do that!" jboyst- road trip????

If nobody is running it, I will... But I would just assume keep it as it was last year, have the same commish, etc...

It surprised me because typically when you see sports figures on tv, or in the news, they are in or are associated with flashy sports card. I agree the ol' pick 'em up truck is extremely practical, and those who drove trucks probably have a stable of sports cars at home... Just interesting is all... Kind of brings that blue collar, tough kind of work ethic

I posted in the Fantasy forum and didn't get many replies... I was wondering who typically sets this up. Does the same person run it annually? I know this may seem a little early to post, but I am sure there are others that are trying to coordinate how many and which leagues they will be in. Had a great time in the TBD League last year!

Agree with this! I too am in PPR leagues... I think one of the top 4 RB's have about a 50% chance to make it to you, and if you are in a PPR league as well, could end up with a top RB, and one of the following- Graham, top 5 WR, or top 4 QB in your first two rounds... I like to pick 4-6.... But if I can pick 10 and have a stud fall to me in round 1, I am all about it

Same here! Wife and I are flying out to Chicago on Thursday... Hitting up a Cubs/Pirates game Friday, which is convenient bc we are Pirates fans (live in pa)... Would love tickets to the game, however not going to spend $200 each for nose bleed seats. If we can't get tickets, we will be at one of those two backers bars as well!!

I'm sorry if this is a duplicate response, as I have not read the entire thread yet... I have a limited personal experience with guns used in crimes. While I work as a corrections officer, I deal with criminals on a a daily basis. In my life, where I live, thousands of people own guns, but there is almost ZERO crime stemming from such. I live in NWPA and people own guns for hunting. There is no possible way to make a distinction using gun legislation to differentiate between "hunters/sportsman" and "everyone else"... I have to say that I am against any form of legislation that infringes upon my ability to own/purchase firearms..

Wow. Just read the article. I have to admit that my initial impression of seeing this thread was "ok, here's a guy that won't see the middle of August..." But based on his numbers, he has more of a shot than I thought. Only time will tell what DH can do with this kid, but unfortunately it's a lot to take in, in such a short period of time. Good luck to him!

I hope he lights it up out there, too... But as a fan, if he continues to do the same things that negatively impacted his teams chance to win- It will just validate my approval of the trade..

20,000 fans storming the field... Say 1/3 get caught... There is almost 7,000 fans that are now barred from attending games... I don't see how any if this can possibly serve as anything remotely close to constructive, actually seems very childish. Maybe I am missing something...
