I think they are comperable.... Both have injury concerns, both have proven capable.... Matthews is the better all around back... He can take it up the middle, hit the outside, catch passes and pass pro.... CJ couldn't get the short yardage, pass protect, or hit it up the middle without dancing around....
Do I think CJ has the ability to finally "get it" and become something special? Sure.... Looking at the body of work for both of these guys up to this point- I have to give the nod to RM
My point was that RM had a deal in place for $4M a year and CJ turned down $4.5M from us... I hope CJ gets a crap contract after poorly evaluating his worth
