Devin Singletary, welcome to RB1 of the Buffalo Bills
DC Grid replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I miss McCoy already -
This would sound a lot less BS, if it wasn't also a BIG money grab. Come pay $15 per head after paying large bus / limo fees to drag your stuff over to a designated pen where we can regulate your behavior...oh is that stuff heavy you brought...don't worry, you can just buy from us at tailgate village for stadium prices. The bus / limo lot is a mess, but no one has to go there who doesn't want to. If the issue is fans being too drunk in the stadium and ruining people's time, there's an easier solve, boot them out. That's what they'll be doing at tailgate village anyways, using extra security and booting out over the top drunks.

Are you embarrassed to wear Bills gear?
DC Grid replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not at all! I wear Bills gear around DC all the time and there isn’t a single day I’m out running errands or at a bar that multiple people don’t say go Bills....usually pretty emphatically. -
It's interesting for the first 5 games of the season when Luck was still in the early stages of getting back up to speed Frank was looking like a loser who wouldn't last long. Now with a fully recovered Luck he's a bonafide guru Buffalo missed out on. Forget that with what in general is a hot pile of garbage for most of his tenure, McD seemed to have willed the Bills a playoff appearance and again seems to be righting the ship in a massive roster rebuild that was desperately needed. A HC doesnt need to be a specialist. He needs to be an overall manager. He needs to get people under him to be gurus. The league is full of examples of great OCs who can't coach, Hue Jackson anyone?....or Kevin Wisenhunt, Todd Haley, Charlie Weiss, Jason Garrett etc etc etc. When you look for a head coach, his leadership skills / management of people and his staff should be the real focus.

I assume Colton banged Beane’s wife. Otherwise his constant desire to replace a dependable known quality punter with random ones doesn’t make any sense.

I would sign him and dump Peterman in a heartbeat. There's about a 90% chance he'll flame out, but it's not like he's going to ruin some great season the Bills are having, and he's already a better actual option to play than Peterman.

Josh Allen was drafted as the guy with the most upside but a guy who had a lot of work to do. Specifically he’s shown this preseason that when he can set his feet he’s accurate and looks great, when he can’t, things look not so great. So instead of throwing him to the wolves right away behind an awful OL that will only reinforce his bad habits and potentially David Carr him, the Bills are giving Peterman a chance to prove he isn’t the San Diego disaster. If they’re wrong, all they’ve done is bought Allen a few more weeks to learn the system / develop while the OL gels. This is the kind of move the Bills never could make under a Rex, and it’s great to see them following a good process for bringing along a QB. Trust the process!

I say no but ONLY because the OL is AWFUL and I don't want to David Carr this kid. He is going to fall into bad footwork patterns, leading to INTs and destroyed confidence if he has to play behind a line that has him running for his life constantly. This is a recipe for failure. Let Peterman or McCarron go 2-6 wile the line gels (or doesn't) then get this kid some expirence that won't scar him for his career.

Who is your favorite current Bill?
DC Grid replied to Bing Bong's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Love Kyle a ton. He’s the heart and soul of the D, but Shady makes the games worth watching. I grew up watching Thurman dominate, and Shady has been a welcome reminder of those great old days. It’s hard to think of a team who’s had such a rich history at RB. -
Richie may be a bit of a handful, but context clues are starting to add up. It’s telling none of his Fins teammates ever stood up for Martin....heck one stood up for Hernandez. It’s further telling that Martin seems to have a clear complex where everyone is a bully to him. I’m sure it’s disturbing for Richie to see his name next to a gun like that....but hopefully he sees this post for what it is, vindication...as clearly Martin is crazy.

So glad McDerrmot chose Tolbert over Williams. Seriously, Tolbert should be cut this minute. Don’t even let him back in the locker room. He has been pathetic all year.

Nathan Peterman to Start this Week.
DC Grid replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Longtime Tyrod defender, but I love this move. Last week was the final straw. Tyrod isn't good enough. Find out what you have in Peterman now. If he does well, great you make the playoffs and really are off an running for the future (should still grab a QB in the 2nd or 3rd to develop as a hedge) but if fails, your draft slot goes up, and you know it's time to trade in all those picks for THE GUY, whoever that may be. This is not an EJ / Geno year....there are multiple QBs worth a bundle of picks in this draft. FINALLY it looks like this front office has a good long term plan. -

Gronk now complaining about OPI call Consistency
DC Grid replied to Jasovon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
YES! It's like a giant piece of armour that he gets to wear every game forever because he hurt his elbow once YEARS ago. I have no idea how this isnt talked about more. It's got a soft wrap on the metal, but usually after 2-3 snaps the soft wrap is starting to come off and then he has exposed giant metal rods running the length of his arm that he can use to bater people if he leads with that shoulder. -
Ha....nice.

Happy 48th Birthday to SDS
DC Grid replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This thread should be merged with the "Happy 47th Birthday to SDS" thread from last year. SDS, after the cake and presents, could you get on that? -
Baryard is good. He's like a weaker smaller J Williams.

Week 1: Jets' Game Preparation - Inactives Announced
DC Grid replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What will the spread be after another 4-5 dumb roster moves that I assume are coming this week? Id be happy to make some easy money locking in the Jets +9. -
Say what you will about Whaley's mistakes. So far he seems to have been a FAR superior talent evaluator compared to McBean.

John Miller Start packing your bags
DC Grid replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Miller's gone. He's young and more talented than the old hacks McBean brought in. -
McD and Beane/ Do you trust them?
DC Grid replied to Buffalo Boy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope. The mcbean dumb dumb team has proven themselves to be moronic hacks, cutting good young players to keep old has beens. It's one thing to revamp / rebuild, but burning down everything the last regime did without pause is dumb. It's over. They are not only tanking this season, they will be tanking forever with these losers at the helm. -
is jonathan williams next? - update: now cut
DC Grid replied to ronnieroscoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is no logical justification for this move. This is starting to feel like the movie major league where the owner and GM are trying to tank to leave town. -
That's it. Beanie and co are morons. This is where I get off. Reilly looked awesome. How is Yates on this roster and Reilly isn't?
-
Yeah, seeing how bad Tyrod looks tonight this looks like a season to try out future QBs. With that in mind the only thing dumber than keeping Yates around, was trading away Cardale to do it.
