  1. From Lombardi's Sunday Post <http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Sunday-at-the-Post-8060.html> 7. I know much has been made of the Colt McCoy pick by Cleveland, but in reality, this pick will not stop the Browns from drafting a quarterback next year. McCoy is viewed more as backup than a potential starter by team brass. Expect the Browns to get involved in scouting the top QBs in the draft next year. Seems to jibe with Nix's decision - why take another backup QB with that pick?
  2. Brown does seem intriguing but probably because he is the new toy in the toy chest. I'd rather have him hang tight on the bench though. The best thing the new coaches seem to be doing for the OLine and the QBs is implementing the 3-4 and, of course implementing new body specific training programs. The '09 Bills looked clueless every time they faced that 3-4 scheme except for that week 1 when they had all of training camp to prepare even with the OC switch. That and they were the healthiest they were all year. Let Trent/Fitz get beat up while Levi sees the 3-4 in practice and in games for a while and gets coached up some - as in give the ball to Fred and CJ.
  3. I posted this yesterday under "Draft Day Steals - Buffalo?" http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?showtopic=112592 I sense the Apocalypse coming...
  4. LINK: http://sdg.scout.com/2/965414.html Who is this guy and how dare he something good about our draft?
  5. All I know is Cowher and Shanahan don't win without a QB, a RB, and an O-Line. Plus, judging a coach as a coach only is unrealistic in a GM's league. Anyway found this post on arrowheadpride.com entitled, " The Case for Chan Gailey as the Chiefs Head Coach" posted almost exactly a year ago. It's worth reading: The Case for Chan Gailey as the Chiefs Head Coach
