Hard when I'm using an iphone and yes I know the difference, again you're a good writer, and Manzel had some Flutie like talent imo (NFL possibly capable if developed properly imo) but to dissmiss talent v his stupidity is another story. Again I said imo, not fact. The previous posters know how present arguments. Learn how and you will be a much better talent. You have arm strength, not sure though if you can analyze a defense, but you have potential. PS, I play hockey at a much lower level, but know the game and have been watching football since the Juice came into the league, so I have seen a thing or too and know QB is the hardest position to evaluate and a lot depends on the coach to figure out that talent and best use it. Again state things as opinion, point out flaws you see, not as someone else does. I think too often repeat others' opinions.

. See and this is an obviously educated observer that shares his observations as opinion, not fact and gives reasons to back them up 26. You could learn something from Gunner... I did. Though I think Peterman has a chance to develop and arm strength can be vastly improved with proper training. Agreed smarts and accuracy is over used. Want to see himin higher level competition. He seems to scan the field well and read and look off defenses... whether he can develop strength and accuracy under NFL pressure remains to be seen and is a big if as with so many of these young QBs

Took the bait on Manzel, you obviously dont know how to check your arrogance. You bait and switch too much and repeat things as if we disagree on on them when in fact that is not so. Either you have a reading comprehension problem... doubt it because you are to good a writer, or your myopically wed to your opinion so much that the slightest lack of fawning sends you into a tizzy. No wonder you couldn't hang on Sabrespace.. updates were great, but hockey evals... not so much.
-
Ok say its your opinion, (not assessment)... sounds like your a professional... , bagging him as not a starter. yes you are. just use the words IMO before you say anything or something like based on I saw and think... and PS... I disagree on Manzel from a talent standpoint... from a checkup above the neck NFW was his psychotic mind able to handle the NFL.

26 I don't know you're football background, but bagging a guy so early on and insisting you are right imo is the one who is too excited, Kid looks decent so far and who knows. Still think Bill should draft a QB in 2018 regardless, but slotting Peterman as a bkup just shows me you like your opinion and stick to it no matter what. At this point I'm at show me, but let it happen before you go all in one way or another.

Greatest WR you've seen in your lifetime

He won't last.... depends if Eli stays, if he gets a QB that he doesnt like than he'll throws a diva and sits himself.Otis was something... and again you forgot Cliff Branch -
Greatest WR you've seen in your lifetime
North Buffalo replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rice for sure, but for Pure Speed.. Cliff Branch... before Rice there was Steve Largent and Fred Bilitinikoff (sp?) And the predecessor to Moss was Harold Carmichael. These guys did it during the clutch and grab era. -
I think bagging him at this point is irresponsible and short sighted. Thank God you are not a coach. I have no idea if he will work out. But not gonna be judgmental on any of these guys if they can hit the broad side of a barn and not throw to the other team. Im just saying its way to early, but go ahead with your click bait.PS im ok with drafting in 18 and or 19 and on till Bills can actually establish a number 1 QB.

He didnt look better or worse than the two guys above him everyone is fawning over. In fact I thought he looked off the DBs better than those two. Yeh they have arms, but the way they locked on receivers shows me they all have a long way to go and who knows. Just saying predictions at this point are stupid till we see if these guys can overcome the weaknesses they brought with them to the league. IMO strength is the easiest to overcome. Field awareness is more innate. Peterman seems to have that and finally do any of them have that fire to take it to the next level... honestly dont know???
-
You keep repeating that line... when all of us at this point are just guessing. I saw a lot of good but do I know if he project as a bust or a 2 or 1... NFW. At this point his development looks good but we shall see... by the way how many pull up can he do... who cares. . Watson looked zoned in on his receivers and would have had 3 picks against a real defense based on how he locked in on one receiver. Again nfw anyone can accurately project these guys nor if their coaches can develop them properly.

Who are you going to watch now that Bills suck
North Buffalo replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Sabres... they should be better and very entertaining. New D additions and some young blood likely to take the next step with a coach that emphasizes pushing the pace.. -
There is going to be some pain... to paraphrase the Sabres former GM as he started the Tank. Oh wait... it's been 17 years...

Serious question: Is this the beginning of a tank?
North Buffalo replied to Heavy Kevi's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ok so its a modified Tank... stockpile as many pics as possible, trade TT and Shady for high picks #1s and sign CC, TT to Denver and Shady to an NFC West or Central Team. Either use a couple of these picks to move up in next years draft or use Shady and one of the #1s to move up to grab a QB. Either way, I think McBean have a plan and they are executing it step by step. Doubt though we will see anything more before the beginning of the season. -
Go on record regarding the trades
North Buffalo replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Again, I think the trade may help, but still in show me stage... they, the Bills, need a number 1 QB, and until then, or if these trades help them get one, I'm more of the opinion... meh. That being said, hecku of a risk by McBean. No guts no glory. As McDermott said he didn't sleep last night... can understand why. The question then becomes, with Williams running well, do the Bills consider offers for Shady and if so what would the asking price be? 2 firsts, a 1st and a player? -

North Buffalo replied to Tiberius's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You havent changed... stop just stop.Big difference between political fighting, grass roots organizing, door to door and standing up for your rights against the opposition and takiing a gun out and shooting. Both sides talk this way, thats not advocating violence. -
Congressman Shot At Baseball Practice
North Buffalo replied to Tiberius's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Please dont represent retail political commentary as incendiary. It only encourages nuts. PS Know the park on the North End of ALEXANDRIA NEAR Potomac Yards. About a half mile from where I used to live in Warwick village. All my best for those Congressmen, staffers and officers, part of the reason I left DC after 21 years. -
