Yeh OJ was better, but love Thurman despite the helmet incident. Plus he signed my Superman comic book in the Buffalo airport and handed us oranges during Delaware Avenue parade in old fashion cars. We were riding our banana sear bikes at the time. For all his later stupidity OJ was awesome when I was a kid. Though as a guy, despite his early womanizing... I like Thurman better.

Despite OJ being scum, he still was an amazing a tough runner who could both stiff arm and or fake a guy out and had world class speed. Or he would run over a guy, he was that strong. Thermal was quick in small areas and a great receiver. Another 20 secs and he alone would have won that Superbowl against the Giants.

OJ was the best runner and could catch out of the backfield. Thermal was the best scat back and all around back. Never saw cookie but no one else was close.

May have to check out a UMass game this year. Cool

Yeh he only does that with Sabre fans...

Still think the Sabres are 2-3 very good wingers and a goalie away from being competitive. They need consistent scoring. A decent FA signing and a couple young guns like CJ Smith and Malone stepping up could go a long way. Too many jags on this team in top six to do too much.

Can you add a fence sitter... maybe line. I am still of the show me mode. He has potential and if coached up right... I like the measurable and his quick release. Guys seems like he is a stand up kind of guy and tough. May need some seasoning and if he can figure out the short swing passes. But I think there may be some growing pains. Others think he may be a bust. We shall see?

The other thing I like about him is he has a quick release. Yes he has to mature and settle in the pocket as well a develop a little more touch on swing passes. But his release reminds me of Marino’s. If he can get some receivers the Bills should be set at QB. Again still potential.

Guy has a quick release, strong arm, makes quick decisions that get him in trouble. Receivers he had this year stink. That being said, he is gonna need some time to develop. Hopefully he does. Kid can through the ball outside... He is definitely raw and has way too much happy feet. Again its all potential... Hope the Bills didn't give up too much to get him and the linebacker, who knows at this point about any of these guys.

Core strength and hip rotation is important but not the only thing that improves velocity and accuracy. Now I am not a great athelete, but do play hockey and have been working with a trainer the past four months to improve my shot, velocity and accuracy. My core is not the problem and my latts have always been strong making for a pretty good heavy wrist shot which really isnt one. More a pull shot from my latts, hips and legs. Problem is I often dont have that time or space to get it off. So I have been working on my snap shot by doing a variety of wrist curls and working on forearm lifts. Its been paying big dividends. Able too roof the puck easier with more velocity. Sauce passes are more accurate and I can get a snap shot off, more wrist forearm action, quicker. Just saying there are multiple fundalmentals that make stronger arms than you listed. Depends on what is needed. Marino’s 60 yard flicks come to mind. Dude had amazing forearm wrist strength.

Agree with Saban.. granted Rosen said this last year. I worked fulltime while in college, volunteered and had internships my junior and senior years. Was it tough yeh, not much of a social life., was it worth the sacrifice... yup... ps that was over 30 years ago... dont know Rosen but strikes me of Mellianial whining.

Done it multiple times and it sucks. My last animal “dog” died in front my boys via heart attack. He lifted his head one last time and gave my oldest a lick and passed. We took him to the vet and said goodbye. Hard life lesson but agree any family who wants to should say goodbye.
