Yahoo Pick 'em and Survivor leagues
North Buffalo replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Took the plunge, holy crap enough signed up for pick’em. Guess some has to have a perfect score. -
I remain hopeful. My biggest concerns remain the trenches especially O line... secondly the WR and linebacker positions. Though there is talent there it is interesting that McD rarely put all the starters together at once and flipped other guys in a lot. It is hard for me to tell what the Bills might have and cohesion takes time to develop so along with the tough sched I cant see the Bills getting off to a fast start even if the competition was less. Baptism by fire right off the bat and it could get ugly. Expectations pretty low at this point.

Sal Carpaccio: Corey Coleman Is In Trouble
North Buffalo replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gotta think they keep a couple extra receivers. Ray and Streeter... cut Holmes not seeing the effort plus some of the tight ends are faster. Based on some of the stupid plays Coleman made thinking ps -

What areas of the team has Beane actually improved?
North Buffalo replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sp are the Bills tanking and any chance they could trade Shady for a number 1 next year or a couple of picks in the later rounds. If the Bills start 0-5 or worse gotta think he will be on the block... Gonna be a rough year if the O-lline doesn't come around. Losing Richie and Wood both is a big blow to what the Bills were trying to accomplish this year... Next year they need to draft at least 2 O-linemen, a number 1 receiver and a linebacker or sign Mack and sign a stoudt high end D interior lineman. That is a lot to fill. Haven't even looked at FAs who might be available next year. Any young guys getting cut on O-line or D-line that might be worth PS signings to develop? -
OL what I would like to see happen TOMORROW
North Buffalo replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Given that Dawkins wasn't in and the interior linemen were being pushed around definitely Teller. Boettger wiffed a few times and needs some seasoning. Also the mixing and matching against a stout interior line of the Bengals was an obvious mistake. Showed Beane and McDermott how little depth the Oline has... see if Richie could come back? Probably not after his arrest, but agree he needs the structure of the team to keep his sanity. -
Its a preseason game but in SB years starting Oline controlled line so did D line for two series score was 14-0 or 14-3 then subs came in and that was that. The O and D line starters looked horrible. Peterson makes quick decisions and less likely to get hurt. JA gonna have some growing pains with the speed of the game and is gonna need to watch a few before he should start. Oline gonna need to get better before you put JA in there.

Stop, I gave not because of just what Dalton did on the field. Yeh that was a great thing and rolled my eyes initially, but then I saw what his foundation does and realized that was more important than what happened on the field and both were great things. Get off your negative nancy pills and enjoy the spirit of the thing. Or are you so far gone that you have no joy in your life... I’ll say a prayer for you... can I get an AAmen?

I agree, clap for him, give him a standing ovation because what happened was not just about him. The Bills broke the drought as a result of that pass and that game. I gave my $17, and as a father of a special needs child and someone who works in an ER often with people of little means, what Dalton’s foundation does hits close to home. I know the struggles. That is the other side of this story and the result of Bills fans generosity. Still its football and once the game begins I want him knocked on his backside! For those who are naysayers... you can join him on the turf once the game starts... on your a s s?

I was out for a while completely, turned to hockey which has always been a 1a sport of mine and I still play... but the improvement last year drew me back in and I am following the Bills much more closely. Fantasy leagues kept me in touch, but rarely watch other games because of all the commercials and other things to do. Would rather watch hockey on my portable devices and its cheaper too.

Khalil Mack holding out... in Buffalo

old news the fan reported this a week ago. -
I think the baseball deal is probably correct. My son can’t throw a football, but has a nasty breaking fastball. Tried to correct his throwing motion but could be his footwork too. Kid is going to play tight end and linebacker instead. Already 6’1” 180 and size 12 dogs so linebacker may be best. He just turned 14. Got bored of baseball.

Hairline Fxs are hard to diagnose. The clavicle is one of the last bones to fully fuse... around age 21. He could still be very sore, bone bruise etc. Assuming he had a high res CT scan after the xray with bone window that would give a more definitive answer with respect to the nature of the trauma. Lots of ligaments and muscles in the chest and shoulder attach to the clavicle. As well newly fused growth plates can look like fractures. He is not that old. Bone window in CT with 3d post processing can better id if indeed a fracture or not
