The good news about Kyle Peko's wife
North Buffalo replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My tumor was 3 cm small, but in a diverticulum in my bladder, wall is thin, so though encapsulated, perforated muscle wall, stage 3. They removed the diverticulum. Chemo to kill any potential spread into lymph nodes. Chemo called MVAC. Turns out chemo was developed from Mustard gas... dirty little post WW11 psycho scientists. Each letter stand for a different type. Still learning about it but man is it nasty... kills Cancer though. -
Pats can keep their rings; I'll take the Bills
North Buffalo replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I appreciate the delineation, though It will remain a test of time if the Bills can keep it going. I still billieve especially on offense the Bills are a work in progress. The O-line needs time to play together and gell, but you can see the talent. Play calling and adjustments need to get faster. But you can see Allen's head getting around how to vary his options up and keep another team's D off balance. All the Bills D has to do is keep bringing it as the O gets better. Go Bills kick the Giants arse. -

Prognosis is good had tumor removed in late June from bladder stage 3, no sign of spread. Chemo to make sure. Went KoJack for first time in my life. Thank God I am Union and get disability etc. -

So I have been thru 2 rounds of chemo, lost about 20 lbs, chemo to quote Ron White... suuuuucks... in vibrato. I have 2 more rounds spread out over the next 3 weeks. Cant wait for it to be done, the nausea and waves of pain in my abdomen is worse than my amateur drinking days as a teenager... yeh that rough. Got some CBD oil edibles and other stuff to help, only seems to take the edge off which helps but its hard to stay in front of it. Learning as I go. -
Bills (1-0) at Jets (0-1) Postgame thread
North Buffalo replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Had my doubts, but D played great hung there in 1st, Jets had 4 deflections, no turnovers. Both Bills deflections ended in turnovers. Expected O especially O line to be a little off but got better as game wore on and they did. As Allen got more in rhythm against a good Jets D things started happening.... Great win! -
Again, maybe at reading defenses, but neither calls their own plays... Josh can fit it tight windows better... and it looks even with the tight ends the Bills have give Josh a better group of receivers to work with. So to me Josh's athleticism, arm and then we will see about consistency of both. I think it really is hard to tell right now and both play different styles...

Just stunned... no other words to say..

Joseph was out of position or slow to react on a number of plays in the first half... think PS for him

Meadowlands is more expensive generally, I get to one Bills game a year in Buffalo and live near NYC now. Going to a Bills game down state wise is meh, and expensive. Not that every Bills game isn't great. Now when the Giants or Jests stink, it is easy to get cheaper tickets on the secondary market whereas Bills fans show up rain or shine by and large. Short of that, now way do I switch teams. Now if you want to join some Bills fans downstate, there are a few and there is always a Jests game here with the Bills. That being said, unless you stay in Jersey or an hour north of NYC and the stadium, say White Plains ,you are going to spend a lot on lodgings and food in this area. Food is workable depending on what you like, lodging is expensive, no two ways about it. PS I swear you bring up this topic every year... why bother

Congrats... I thought you'd be taller... big shoes though. Seriously nice work.

If the Colts can put together an all pro line... he hasn't had anything near that since he started... But this has been said before. Luck is a smart guy, knows where the Colts are at team wise and he has made more money than he already needs. Guy can't play through injuries and with as much as he has made he doesn't have too... P.S. Message to Bills front office, keep drafting high end O line and get it right. Allen won't be around for long if you don't.

10 observations Bills v. Panthers
North Buffalo replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cole, Brown, Foster, Roberts McKenzie, Duke are your six wide receivers... Zay is either cut or traded... too many drops. -
Who is your slightly surprising cut?
North Buffalo replied to JohninMinn.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeh I am guessing Zay… though not confident based on what I saw the last two games... too many drops. Croom could be odd man out do the Bills keep 4 TEs? Haus will be fine, just working out the kinks on the long ball... -
Finally, nuff said... Bodine next or is Oblique... injured reserve?

Your first Bills game
North Buffalo replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeh I thought it was earlier, but thought the Bills scored more that game. Must have been '72 then and I would have been eight... Makes more sense... Yeh had to have been 72 -

I think it must have been 1975, November 17 Bills lost 33-24, but I remember OJ running for a lot of yards and Denis Shaw was the QB. I was a relatively warm fall day at the old rock pile. I would have been 11 years old. -
How many Bills games have you been to
North Buffalo replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure use to go to a game year at the Ralph, I live outta town. Been to Old RFK, Ravens, Foxboro and San Fran... 1st game at old Rock Pile in 70s vs Cincinnati.... OJ ran for a lot of yards but Bills lost something like 42-38? Went to games during Knox's nuts years... maybe 30-40 over the years... -
The good news about Kyle Peko's wife
North Buffalo replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed was told I will need to take off from work during second round... Im relatively young 55 in 2 weeks and otherwise in good health. Work out four days a week and now am cutting way down on sugars, way up on veggies and and low acid fruits... cutting down on carbs as well. My wife is an OR nurse and former oncology nurse so she is cracking the whip. TY for all the good advice... reinforces everything I have been told. -

I start chemo and rad therapy in a week for a stage 3 bladder tumor that was removed. I had a diverticulum of my bladder where the tumor showed up and though it was encapsulated it perforated the out wall. No sign it has spread from its margins but because it extended outside the wall it is considered stage 3. Stats are iffy because where it is, just not a lot of cases. But CT scan showed no evidence of spread and lymph nodes appeared normal. So we are hoping for it to be cured... just going thru the go thru... Ill say my prayers for the above to be successful as well.- 28 replies
