Who Was Better: Bruce Smith or Reggie White
shane nelson replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Both were great, two of the best ever. One has a ring one does not. Ring = tiebreaker -
If you want the Bills to be here for the next 50 years then "Our House" must be up to NFL standards. While I love Rich, The Ralph and The Cap as much as anyone else; I love the Bills more. Our House needs a MAJOR Renovation (okay KC or GB) or we need to move to a new home. That new home is either OP or DT. If not, we will be at risk of that location being somewhere else. Time to deal with reality and not our own wants and wishes!!

In Game/In Stadium Presentation and Entertainment
shane nelson replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Use to love the Go Go Buffalo with Fred and Barney. Also, and this is huge. Stop the loud music between plays. This stops the Lets go Buffalo Chant and does not engage the fans to the game. Often its so loud you cannot even talk -

Not losing any significant talent is just as critical as adding new players in key positions of need. We are slowly headed in the right direction. At least I hope we are

How can you possibly have a SECOND team that you root for?
shane nelson replied to Bakin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have lived in NJ for 30+ years. I have had Giants seats for 25+ years because I love football. I have taken my kids to Giants games their entire life. Almost all of my friends are Giants fans. My house is split. My wife, son and daughter are Giants first, my other daughter and I are Bill all the way. With that said, while I enjoy watching the Giants and hope they win, there is nowhere near the same passion as the Bills. I don't read Giants blogs or really follow their players. Being a fan of two teams has allowed my family and I to enjoy the passion of football, tailgate every Sunday and have wonderful memories with great friends. -

Which Ex Bills HC Would You Hire Again?

None of the above. Should have promoted Jim Schwartz and brought in Frank R or Anthony L as the OC. Much better option than blond hairJackie "Rex" Gleason -
Shortly after Kelly. i was there, terrible weather cold snow and rain. Kelly got hurt and the Giants fans were cheering. I think it was more the hit than the injury. No one was cheering when Simms went down (except me

Ontario Bills Fans Club
shane nelson replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
About 10 years ago, 9 of us were in a station wagon crossing the border. Female Canadian Customs officer. "you boys heading to the Downer". "Yes" was our response. She then asked "need directions?" Keep Canada GREAT. -
Totally agree, especially in today's high power offense first NFL. Should be a 15 minute period then sudden death. The regular season should be a 10 minute period.

attendence should picks up next year
shane nelson replied to gjv001's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Schedule maker put 3 terrible games in December. Lions, Jets and Dolphins. Don't think they could have picked any worse teams. Every year we get 3 games in Sept and Oct and then 5 in Nov and Dec. No reason for fans come out to watch these teams in cold weather especially when half the stadium has cold aluminum benches. -
What a loser, a wealthy loser, but still a loser. Hold yourself accountable. Your record got you fired. The team's lack of discipline with clock management. penalties and declining defense are the reason why you were canned. "You are what your record says you are" Rex you are a below .500 coach. Accept it and don't blame others. We are the ones who go fu@*ed not you

The fix is in-- Lynn will be the new head coach
shane nelson replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Continuity means a lot to the Pegula’s, which for the Bills makes a lot of sense. They bought into “Snake Oil Rex” and will not want to make the same mistake again. They trust and like Whaley, he is not going anywhere. I am totally fine with Anthony Lynn taking the helm, assuming he is willing to bring in a strong coordinator to run the D. Todd Bowles, will probably be canned. He could be a great DC. In my opinion, a smart head coach, especially a rookie HC, brings in coordinators who have had HC experience. Someone who understands the pressure points and delegation requirements. -
PFW: Tom Coughlin the favorite to replace Rex Ryan
shane nelson replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, god no. I go to almost all Giants games, while he has won two SB, those seasons, especially the first were ugly. Poor game planning and terrible clock management, the only time they played to their strength was in the playoffs. With the talent they had, and a HOF QB, they should have won 10 games plus every year. Look at the close games last year that they blew, as I recall 5 games because of poor clock management, game planning and player preparation. He is 71 years old, we have a questionable QB, he is not the man to rebuild this team. At least not on the field. Tom, you have had your day. You will probably be in the HOF. Enjoy your family and health but please don't come to Buffalo, don't take the opportunity away from a younger person that could still be our coach when you finally leave the game. -
I really struggle with this, I have great seats at the Bills sideline and by the players tunnel but i live 6 hours away and dont get to many games. Therefore i sell most of my tickets on line. I dont want to give them up because i will never be able to secure such good seats. I know I should, but i can't. NFL schedule makes never does us any favors, especially when there are 3 Dec games. Ouch. First things first, I am not renewing Sundayticket. Way too much money. Next year i may just try to sell my entire seasons to one buyer. As an fyi, if you use an NFL credit card you do not pay any interest for NFL tickets. So if you happen to sell them its a great way to get free financing

Let's promote the slowest, most incompetent burger flipper so he can no longer grill and slow down production. If he does not go at least 9-7 or losses to the Browns he is done like dinner.
