  1. Our defense has been really solid and progressing nicely. We seem to be getting more sacks and turnovers as the year progresses. Turnovers that have turned games around. The next step, to be a dominate defense, is defensive scores. Lets hope this starts to happen in the 2nd half of the season. Go Bills
  2. Nope, too many moving parts and they are just coming together. We literlly have 9 new players on offense and 4 new starters on the offense line. It can take years to build solid chemistry. That said, I think we will start to see significant improvement in November and peak performance in December injuries pending of course. It you follow the NE model. Sept/Oct (wins) Nov (know who you are) Dec (peak and get on a run)
  3. Josh is too driven and too tough to let that concussion ruin him. The one on Trent was a brutal hit from the blind side while in the pocket. I am sure he heard footsteps after that as captain check down emerged.
  4. Happy and nervous. Happy- our defense played light out yesterday. Outside of 3 players, the offense is brand new and will only get better unless we get the injury bug. Nervous- because my heart has been ripped out in the past, stomped on and thrown into the bay as fish chum.
  5. When you consider that 66% of the starters on offensive where not on the team last year, their start is pretty impressive. Long way to go, but they should continue to jell as the season progresses.
  6. Its September fellas, Sept and Oct are about W and learning how to win. No what you have and where to build. Its a long season and its great to be off to a 2-0 start, but we have seen this many times before.
  7. And now back to our regularly scheduled program
  8. Its like watching the game live. I tend to follow the secondary to see if it looks like a run or a pass. I really like it. However, if you are use to watching the majority of the games on TV, its a big adjustment. I hope it sticks
  9. ???? Good for him, at 78 he could be in a nursing home with S@#t in his pants
  10. Tasker. Kyle or Eric Wood!!
  11. Sadly the Bills are a scandal, heart attack or tragic accident away from being back on the "auction block". We were very fortunate/lucky when the team was sold to the Pegula's. The only long term anchor is a new stadium. I agree downtown would be a great investment into the city, but I am okay with Orchard Park as well. Call me selfish, but all I want is a stadium up to today's NFL standards that can sustain the Bills for the next 50+ years in Western NY.
  12. Both were great, two of the best ever. One has a ring one does not. Ring = tiebreaker
  13. If you want the Bills to be here for the next 50 years then "Our House" must be up to NFL standards. While I love Rich, The Ralph and The Cap as much as anyone else; I love the Bills more. Our House needs a MAJOR Renovation (okay KC or GB) or we need to move to a new home. That new home is either OP or DT. If not, we will be at risk of that location being somewhere else. Time to deal with reality and not our own wants and wishes!!
  14. Use to love the Go Go Buffalo with Fred and Barney. Also, and this is huge. Stop the loud music between plays. This stops the Lets go Buffalo Chant and does not engage the fans to the game. Often its so loud you cannot even talk
  15. Those 3pm division games will be super cold in Buffalo
  16. "You listen to the fans, you quickly become one".
  17. Sure on the Wall at the Mulligans Brick Bar so we can toss beers at his head
  18. AKA Bill made me work too hard.
  19. Not losing any significant talent is just as critical as adding new players in key positions of need. We are slowly headed in the right direction. At least I hope we are
  20. Nope, we need to acquire building blocks not high priced finishing touches. Way too many gaps at this stage of the "process"
  21. I have lived in NJ for 30+ years. I have had Giants seats for 25+ years because I love football. I have taken my kids to Giants games their entire life. Almost all of my friends are Giants fans. My house is split. My wife, son and daughter are Giants first, my other daughter and I are Bill all the way. With that said, while I enjoy watching the Giants and hope they win, there is nowhere near the same passion as the Bills. I don't read Giants blogs or really follow their players. Being a fan of two teams has allowed my family and I to enjoy the passion of football, tailgate every Sunday and have wonderful memories with great friends.
